"Best Western Palm Hotel"

Clean, well run, inviting hotel. Was worried when we were given a room next to the bar that we would be troubled with noise but this was not the case. Breakfast was good and we did have an evening meal one night that was well cooked and reasonably priced.

"A well presented, friendly, clean and modern Hotel."

We enjoyed our stay (on my Wife`s birthday) the staff were very kind, and readily offered us a room at the back of the Hotel when I mentioned the road noise from the 6 lane Hendon way. The room was well laid out, clean and modern. The shower was spacious and worked well and bed was really comfy. Finally the breakfast choice was fabulous. From our experience the staff team worked hard to accomodate guests neeeds

"Great Hotel"

We enjoyed our stay. Nice, clean, comfortable accommodations and helpful staff. Good food and service in the restaurant. The hotel is not convenient to sigthseeing as it is away from the city centre.

"Highly recommend the Palm"

On arrival was met with a smile & greeting in lovely surroundings. The room was lovely, & had all we needed with coffee & tea facilities,a modern bathroom & really comfy bed. Even though the room was facing the main road there was no disturbance whatsoever & the maids were in every day. The restaurant had a lovely set up & the staff were friendly & helpful & the 3 course Dinner we had was outstanding with a lovely choice on the menu & breakfast too had a nice variety. Also available was a spacious bar area with pleasant atmosphere . Again I cant speak highly enough of this hotel & of the lovely friendly & helpful staff on duty. I would recommend the Palm to anybody wishing to have a comfortable enjoyable stay un London, & I look forward to booking here again soon !!! Thank you for looking after us !!! Paul & Tania Baston

"OK rooms, rubbish breakfast service."

Rooms clean and modern. Bathroom very tiny. Reception staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast service was dire. Staff were miserable and it was seemingly a chore when you asked for something. Tables weren`t promptly cleared away bit sat empty with dirty dishes on them for 20-30 minutes after being vacated. Limited choice of food and was not refilled promptly enough. Therefore as soon as it was refilled, people rushed for food and the buffet was left empty again minutes later, with other guests having to wait a relatively long time for it to be refilled again.

"Good overall"

Very clean,very comfortable stay.However, limited room service out of hours, regardless of what is said on room service menu.We would have been happy to eat in the hotel, but were forced to eat elsewhere. Other than this,no complaints

"Excellent service would stay again"

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The rooms are very nice with everything you need. The only down was the road noise which we weren`t made aware of when booking. It is on a very busy dual carriageway. The rooms get very hot but you can`t sleep with the window open because of the noise. Didn`t really bother us with the window closed. Also, the shower wouldn`t work in the morning. It was like there was no water pressure but it eventually came on. Overall was a nice hotel and we would stay again. The nearest tube is about a 15 minute walk and cricklewood train station is about 20 minutes walk.

Kitchen-service lacked, in terms of politeness (with the exception of one girl) & layout. My wife & l were overlooked, albeit seating-position was close to the (kitchen) wall in the dining-room...... the staff come out of the kitchen, focus on walking forwards. We had to ask (on different occasions) for cutlery, and then coffee and tea, and then THE CUPS! SUGGESTION: Might a cutlery-table be placed in the restaurant? The food was okay, egg-choice might vary. The bedroom was excellent all round, although we couldn`t get the tv remote-control to work. Francesco on the bar very friendly. I had difficulty with the internet, probably much through my own naivity, but the reception-staff couldn`t help. One more thing. Reception-staff to advise those who need transport-service of the need for an Oyster Card. We jumped on the bus, under the knowledge that it goes as far as Marble Arch ...... but left frustrated, being unaware that money isn`t taken on the buses.

"Modern and clean"

A lovely hotel, modern, clean well-equipped room and en-suite. Good breakfast. Easy bus/tube access into city centre. Room air-conditioned (hotel is on a busy main road so opening windows would be very noisy) however we found that 19` being the lowest temperature we could set it to, on what seemed like it must be the hottest night of the year, was not conducive to a good nights sleep. Too hot and stuffy. A great shame as otherwise we would have rated Excellent. Hopefully on a cooler night this would not be a problem.

"Good location."

The hotel was easy to find when driving in from the North. It had good transport links to Central London including a 24hr bus service which stopped outside. Our room was a good size,quiet and comfortable. The staff were very helpful especially those on reception. We would use this hotel again when visiting London.

"Great Hotel ."

Very clean ,good size rooms , lovely bar area, food in restaurant was good price and tasty .Good overall breakfast .Only complaint was that the air con didn`t really cool the room down and overall it was quite hot in all areas of the hotel but would definitely recommend it . Very pleasant stay .

"Clean and functional for a short stay"

Ideal for theatre land - good tube connections from Golders Green (15 mins walk) or direct bus route to heart of London. Very comfortable memory foam mattress bed - good buffet type breakfast and attentive restaurant staff. Requested room change due to a coach parked outside our room front of hotel - alternative room sorted without fuss or bother. Room on first floor of good double size with shower en suite. Only criticism - lack of headroom whilst standing to ablute - but I guess ideal for the less vertically challenged !! Would I book again through Hotel direct - most definitely!!

"Another nice stay"

Friendly staff , and nice room. Very convenient location and pet friendly. Really good breakfast as well. We use this Hotel every time we need to come to London and another bonus, free parking

The hotel was more then we expected. The room was a good size and clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had breakfast both morning and ordered room service, all food was well presented and of good quality. The location was a bit further then we would have liked although the overall hotel made up for this. There was loud noise coming from out side the room but this was due to other guests that stayed the same time as us. Over all very pleased and would recommend to friends and would totally stay here again.

Room was good, except the sewage smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was awful, food came out one item at a time and had to wait almost half hour for tea because the white minority were ignored. It appears black waitresses only serve black guests and we had to wait for the receptionist to come in and serve us. The shower was Luke warm as well, not impressed. Brian on reception was lovely though

2 nights 2 Hotels the first was Golders Green Hotel which I would never touch again with a barge pole and going to the other extreme the BEST WESTERN PALM HOTEL is absolutely amazing. Very clean everywhere and very stylish, the staff are very friendly and helpful and even went that extra mile to make my stay even better. Good access to transport to London center by bus to Golders green tube and Cricklewood train station a short walk away. Would stay again and would recommend without a doubt.

"nice friendly hotel"

I stayed for 1 night and considering I paid £69 ( discount offer) I was generally happy with my stay. I got a carpark spot right outside my room so it was reassuring I could see my car from my room window. Also there was a decent breakfast range, I would definatley stay again but would maybe pay extra to upgrade as the room size was a bit on the small side (double room) however was just fine for 1 nights stay.

"Very noisy.constant noise from the busy road outside and from noisy guests inside."

I stayed in room no 009 ,ground floor on the busy road side. Could hear every thing from outside as if it was happening indoors. This continued through the night,no sleep. Inside the hotel,very noisy guests drunk and had accident with the spilt drink,try to clean at night,constant running water tap and noise of removal of furniture.the manager of the hotel did not appreciate that I and my wife could not sleep at all after returning from the theatre and to be able to do next day business. The access to the hotel is poor using the public transport.there was bus strike on that day and only way to get to hotel from the underground D was taxi adding to the cost.

The Hotel was a fair distance from the Centre although accessible enough. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast nice and staff in dining room very pleasant. Not very impressed when fire alarm went off at Midnight, people gathered in the hotel reception area, staff members did not direct people one stayed behind the reception another went up and down to the basement, and eventually said it`s alright, didn`t seem to be overly concerned or advise people what to do.
