"Mum and Daughter break in London"

Have stayed in the hotel before which is why I booked it again. Good hotel, good room (although small and dark and a draughty window). Toiletries very good. Only complaint was the price of the breakfast. We were told on check in that it was £15.00 but when we went down to breakfast they told us it was £20.00 each. I would have been £15 had we booked it on checkin but this wasn`t explained to us at check in. Breakfast was fantastic though!

None of the keys worked. Got sick between floors and in the lifts as a result. Ridiculous ! And nobody was particularly bothered !

"Not what we booked"

We booked and paid for the Radisson Blu Kenilworth but on arrival we`re told we were being moved to the Edwardian across the road where we would be given an upgrade. The room was tiny and overlooked an alleyway with air con units and bins! We told them this was not acceptable and not what we had booked. We were then offered a better room which we accepted. I don`t think you should book and be told you have been confirmed at one site and then moved with no explanation. Beware when booking the Radisson as this might happen to you.

"Got there in the end "

Arrived at the Kenilworth to find they had over booked so we were given a room at the Edwardian opposite! Went to room and cleaners were still in! Asked to sit in reception with a free round of drinks and offered a free evening meal without any hesitation but as we had already made arrangements asked for free breakfast which was agreed! Arrived for breakfast and only 2 out of 3 had been booked in for breakfast but soon changed to 3. Overall the hotel is very clean and tidy, family room (2005) wasnt a family room but big enough for a 1 night stay

"Could do better"

Check-in good, room No 606 very small, double bed very small, bathroom/shower very good, overall adequate. Scoff and Banter Breakfast very expensive at Discount £30 from £50 not worth the money, service was the worse we have had in a hotel of this standard. Drinks in the Bar the previous evening was just as bad, not welcoming at all.

"Changed us to a different hotel"

We was disappointed to be moved to another hotel within this chain, the hotel was ok and room nice just felt this was bad when I had paid for this hotel and it`s located

This hotel was very good, clean and comfortable good location for theatre land. The only let down was the size of the bed we are not big people but I don`t remember double beds being this size. So when booking make sure you ask for Queen size or bigger.

"Location excellent, room too small, staff needs training on customer service."

Excellent for theatre break. Too pricey for such a small room. No guidance given on heating in the room, not told kettle and coffee, tea were in a cupboard. At breakfast not told where the toaster is , where the fruit juice is, how you get coffee or tea. Why does the guy take your room number and tell you absolutely nothing about where you find things and how breakfast is organised. Train the staff.

"VERY FRIENDLY HOTEL"

We arrived early and Mosh on reception was most helpful and arranged early check in for us. Concierge and customer service desks were also exceptionally friendly and could not do enough for you. We had pre booked afternoon tea in Scoff and Banter but staff had no record and we had to wait some time for this, which was a bit bad considering the hefty automatic service charge. Room 326 was also too small for a twin room, toilet had no where to hang towels other than small rail above toilet, not what you would expect in a 4 star hotel - even in London!

"Brilliant Location"

Excellent except that our room was next to the security door and it closed with a thump every time it closed. The hotel was fully booked so we received a complimentary breakfast to make up for this. Breakfast was wonderful. The waiting staff in the bar area were not as attentive as they could have been.

"Good location and good room.Hotel staff that we met were all very helpful and friendly."

Overall Hotel was up to standard although the breakfast choice was the same for both days so could get a bit tedious for a longer stay,The location is very good for several theatre venues which are within a fifteen minute walk from the hotel and the Museum is only a few yards away.

"Radisson Blu kenilworth"

Extremely friendly and helpful staff from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. A little blip with the room (adjoining) that resulted in a disturbed night but the staff tended to this the following day in a very professional and prompt manner. The surroundings and eating area / bar is lovely; great choice of breakfast. We would stay again!

"Brilliant location , excellent caring staff ,very comfortable "

After We made the reservation , I Informed the duty manager that we would be celebrating a special occasion .(Irene) organised a bottle of proseco and card to be left in the room when we checked in.which we appreciated very much , a very nice touch. All staff were absolutely fantastic . Every one ( yes everyone) was friendly, curteous and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast both mornings of our stay, which again was excellent . The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from Tottenham Court Tube station. We walked to the Lyceum Theatre in no time at all . The following evening we walked into Soho to Ronnie Scott`s. We were also able to pick up the Original London tour bus not too far away. Would definitely recommend staying at the Radisson Blue Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel. Big thank you for making a special weekend even more special.

"Perfect "

As always the Radisson chain comes up trumps. Staff couldn`t be friendlier, room small but absolutely spotless and functional for our stay. 1 min from Shaftesbury theatre. A highly recommended place to stay

"Would go again. Facilities clean, comfortable and staff could not do enough!! Stay there!"

Central. Clean. Welcoming. Staff brilliant. Breafast was extra and a bit pricey. Brilliant breakfast but a cheaper alternate is nearby salt n pepper. Nine of us in our party. No complaints!

"Disappointing"

The staff are all very friendly and polite. The hotel and rooms themselves are very clean and there is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. However, the room we were given on the first floor was right on the junction of a busy crossroads, where one of the main secondary glazing window panels was missing, therefore all night it was busy traffic and sirens so we didn`t get any sleep at all. We unfortunately didn`t realise this until it was time for bed as the air-con fan had been left on high which disguised the loud traffic noise until we turned it off!! Bitterly disappointed as this was our 10th wedding anniversary and this spoiled an otherwise lovely time.

"one night theatre break. "

Super location, with polite, attentive people working on reception. Our first kingsize room had a noisy bathroom fan that we couldn`t turn off so Enrique (think that`s how you spell the name) put us in a great room on the third floor that had loads of space and much better view (without a noisy fan). No fuss, no bother just lots of smiles and willingness to please! Fantastic.

Room is small with the double bed requiring the one nearest the wall having to climb over to get out but other than that it was clean and with a good strength shower so pretty good value for money.

"Nothing fancy for 4 *"

Dissapointed in the room itself! First Impression 3* rating is more fitting! For the price would expect breakfast included as total package was expensive! In comparison with similar theatre breaks I`ve been on! Staff pleasant and helpful can`t complain there.
