"Lovely hotel"

I enjoyed another nice stay at the Strand Palace Hotel, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff at this hotel are friendly, courteous and helpful. I`ll certainly stay here again.

"Excellent "

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace quite a few times now, and am impressed each time. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and have a feel of quality about them,even the room doors are heavy and well made and you feel secure behind them! The downstairs areas are a nice place to be and the breakfast buffet is excellent, I`ll happily stay here again.

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace quite a few times now and have been impressed each time. The rooms are nice,comfortable and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bars and restaurant area are a nice place to be,again clean and well looked after. I can easily recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel "

I`ve stayed at the Strand Palace a few times now . It`s a clean and well kept hotel,the buffet breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choices. The rooms have a quality feel about them and again,are clean. The hotel is set in a great location with numerous excellent pubs within a few minutes walk,Covent Garden is a 5 minute walk and the Embankment the same. I can highly recommend the Strand Palace.

"Fantastic hotel well appointed "

Hotel was impressive from arrival to departure, staff were all professional with a friendly helpful attitude, all immaculately dressed, special mention needs to go to the barmen in the Gin Palace who were over and above welcoming and knowledgeable. Whole hotel was spotless in every aspect. Would highly recommend

"Well position hotel for the theatre. "

We stayed in one of their cosy rooms, which was definitely cosy. Very clean and comfortable temperature. Only down side was the tv didn`t work, it kept loosing its signal and the screen was all pixelated. We watched tv on my phone! The toilet was a tight squeeze in an alcove in the bathroom so if you were on the big side, I doubt you`d be ale to use it.

"Amazing stay from start to finish"

Would definitely use hotel direct again, very straight forward booking process, helpful and good value for money. I booked this for my wife`s 40th Birthday, our arrival at The strand palace was outstanding,the staff were helpful, welcoming and the hotel was clean in all areas including the rooms. The options in the areas downstairs to relax with a drink were also good. Breakfast was lovely and being served at the buffet was nice and made the process quicker. Very organised. Joe Brown`s bar in the hotel was an additional treat, such a lovely atmosphere for a meal or just a drink. Staff in there were really lovely.

"Good hotel "

I enjoyed my stay at the Strand Palace, I was in a single "cosy" room. Cosy meaning very small! I think it had been recently refurbished, everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a quality feel to it,there was no door to the bathroom but I don`t suppose it really matters in a single room. The rest of the hotel looked really nice and well looked after. I`ve booked to stay again.

"Great value for money"

Beautiful hotel set in the heart of London. Very modern, staff were really great and happy to help. Couldn`t do enough for you. Food was lovely. Breakfast was great. The Only downside. Rooms were very warm. Air con wasn`t that good. And house keeping team in the morning were very noisy. And the building site at the rear of the hotel was very noisy too. But highly recommend this hotel. I`d definitely stay here again

"60th birthday celebration."

The hotel was super on all counts.We were a group of 4 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday.The rooms were clean and comfortable.A couple of lovely touches were birthday greetings in the room,and a complimentary drink,its the little touches that make a weekend away extra special.The breakfast was excellent,though not included in our package.10 out of 10.

Be aware if booking this hotel, that although the details say check in at 2, and check out at 12, the actual hours are check in at 3 and check out at 11. As I had printed off my confirmation email stating 12, I was granted a complimentary late check out.

"Small but perfectly formed!"

The hotel is in the best location possible. The staff were friendly and the facilities were wonderful. The smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, a bit like a broom cupboard size, but saying that, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was quite the adventure and made us giggle like a couple of teens!

"Perfect location for central London sights"

The Strand Palace Hotel was an excellent choice for our weekend break. Although a large hotel it did not feel impersonal and all the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Our room was on the 6th floor so we were not disturbed by any outside noise. Ideally placed within 10 -15 mins walk of Covent Garden, China Town and the major London theatres and on a bus route to further afield venues.

"Excellent Ruby Wedding Anniversary "

Enjoyed a fabulous few days break in London for our Ruby Wedding anniversary staying at the Strand Palace hotel. The staff made us very welcome and gave a complementary room upgrade to make our stay even better. The breakfast is good with an excellent choice of food. The room was clean and warm. Many thanks to everyone for a very enjoyable break.

Hotel did not really cater for our age group ie 80. The room upgrade was most disappointing,t was no more than a The hotel did not cater for our age group 80. The room upgrade to reflect my wife`s 80th birthday was a big dispointment, it was ike a box The hotel did not cater for our age group 80+.The room upgrade fr my wife`s 80 birthday was a big disappointment, it was more like a box room.Made certain re guests that were ignored. No information about facilities available including breakfast menus and fire procedures. Restaurant offered small meals but not our liking and would not offer any other smaller meals to my wife`s liking . I was a big disappointment overall, they were not prepared to go the extra mile.

" STRAND PALACE - good hotel in excellent location"

Nicely refurbished hotel. Cosy double was small but adequate .... good size bathroom & shower. Good self service buffet breakfast .... cereals (but no porridge), fresh fruit, yogurts, hot buffet, pastries. Excellent location for sightseeing.... close to Theatres, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, River & Westminster.

"Fantastic location "

The hotel itself is clean. The bedroom was rediculously small with a small double bed pushed into a corner. My husband is a big guy and he couldn`t sleep in the bed we found it very very uncomfortable. The bathroom was extremely tiny making it very difficult to get out of the shower. Location was fantastic. Such a shame about the room. Breakfast service on the Sunday was fabulous, great staff lovely food. Breakfast service on the Monday not so great. The guy serving the breakfast I found him to be very rude. He served an American couple before my husband and totally ignored him. He had to command attention and then found him very very indifferent toward him. Our weekend overall was lovely but we wouldn`t rebook this hotel

"Disappointing "

We were very disappointed for a stay we were really looking forward to unfortunately. The hotel was beautiful under first impression. The lady booking us in told us she had upgraded us but hadn`t which again wasn`t an issue just strange that she had said we were upgraded when we were still in a standard double room with just a double bed. We then were woken from 1am and unable to get back to sleep due to the noise, the banging, crashing and door slamming. And then what sounded like trolleys being clanged about from 6am. My husband is a deep sleeper and even he was woken! We then never got given the chance to even mention this to the lady who checked us out. She just took our cards and waved us on without a word when I tried to speak she turned her back so we just walked away disappointed.
