"Great location, excellent bars"
We stayed over Paddy`s day and had a fantastic time, friendly reception staff, fantastic location and excellent bars, ( this means it can be noisy at night! ) The rooms could perhaps do with updating slightly but this didn`t detract from our stay. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good, would visit the hotel again.

"Great location"
Had a great three days in Dublin, the Trinity is in a good location for pubs/clubs etc.The hotel is lovely decor wise the staff are all very nice and helpful, the thing that lets the place down is the cleanliness of the bathroom (shower in particular) and the breakfast was very poor but we would stay again definately but not opt for breakfast and take along some Jif.

"Great location"
Hotel in great location. Rooms could have done with more light. Staff friendly but some conversation lost in translation especially at breakfast time.Overall would use again.

"excellent service at reception in respect of assistance with my lost passport"
atmosphere in the bar was good, but tended to be noisy until very late and disturbed sleep- it was not indicated on the web that this was a club type bar, open to the public, but the impression given was that it was a hotel bar.rooms were not particulaly clean, expecially bathroom, and service at breakfast was not as friendly as expected.

"the hotel is OK what you would expect for a mid priced hotel placed centrally"
not for those who like quiet, the noise levels are very high both from other establishments in the area and its own very large bar, which is not apparant from the booking page..... that said the staff are laid back and helpful.

"Ideal if you like the Dublin nightlife"
If you want to be in the heart of Temple Bar this is a good hotel. Don`t expect to sleep well though as it is very noisy especially if your room is on the front. But then .......if sleeping is your objective you wouldn`t be in Temple bar! Lovely big rooms and interesting architecture. Breakfast is adequate, not wonderful - certainly isn`t a traditional Irish breakfast. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

"Vry handy for everything, slightly noisy at weekends, great breakfast and friendly staff"
Overall value for money but although bedrooms and beds where quite clean the bathroom tiling was very grubby, just needed a little TLC and it let the place down.

"Potential but noisy"
Well placed to explore Dublin and has a lovely bar area with real character. I was really looking forward to my stay. The room appeared great - large and comfortable. Unfortunately it was right opposite the lift with a very squeaky fire door. This probably wouldn`t have woken us from sleep but we never really got to sleep! The old sash windows had been altered to never properly shut, with a ventilation strip at the top. The result was tonnes of traffic noise from busy Dame Street with the added noise from people drunk in the street below. I think it eventually reduced about 3ish allowing a couple of brief hours nap before the traffice really strated up again in the morning. Stay here if you don`t intend to be in bed much. Don`t stay here if you want a nights sleep!!

"comfortable, central to entertainment area of Temple Bar. "
Well located for al of the night life and history of Dublin.City tour bus stop nearby. Can be noisy in the streets late at night on a Friday/Saturday! Our room on the 4th floor was quiet as it faced an inner yard.Food OK , 3 bars one with sports TV.Hotel and bar staff were friendly and efficient

"good value hotel close to all the night life"
the Adams trinity was a good value hotel a stones throw away from the buzzing Temple bar area, not the best for getting a good nights sleep but if you dont mind hearing everyone and his wife comming back whooping and singing this is your place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean enough however its not the ritz, but my 3 friends and myself were happy with it. Staff are friendly and helpful as was everyone we met in Dublin. Would stay there again which we hope to do next year as our 3 day trip wasnt long enough.

"Nice hotel although a bit noisy"
The hotel was what you would expect from a 3 star rating. It is over a bar so its a bit like staying in a pub, which was just what we wanted! It is on the main road though so its noisy, and Dublin is a bit like New York, it doesnt understand the word sleep! If you`re looking for a reasonable hotel in the heart of Temple Bar then the Adams is fine, but if you intend to get some sleep try something off the main road.

"Good Value, Centra location."
Although the room faced Dame Street (very busy) we slept well in a comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Reception staff were great - cant say the same for the staff on at Breakfast!!Breakfast was awful!!

"Very Noisy "
Noise from the main road outside was very loud due to the old sash windows. Groups of very loud people were also in the hotel and seemed to dis-regard all other resisdents by making a lot of noise at very late hours. Hotel is not selective about groups of young people staying there.

"Outside Hotel very noisy due to late drinkers 5a.m. and later "
Hotel needs a up grade quite tatty looking, not very clean, Irish Breakfast was disgusting, all the food Bacon,Sausage etc was of a very poor standard, coffee awful, no choice what so ever.

"Good, friendly but NOT quiet"
Good traditional pub/hotel. Does everything well, without being anything special. Good atmosphere, but the surrounding area is noisy until the early hours.

"Adams Trinity Hotel was excellent, highly recommended to family and friends."
The hotel was kept up to very high standards. The food at the hotel was excellent. All the bars were fun and the staff were all very pleasant.

"Very central location but we could not sleep due to traffic noise throughout the night!!!!"
The hotel`s location is excellent but you pay the price of sleepless nights due to the traffice and sirens throughout the night. We asked if we could be moved to the other side of the hotel but there were no other rooms available. The full irish breakfast was fine but it was served to some of us on side plates instead of normal dinner plates. We would only stay at this hotel again if we were guaranteed quietier rooms as by the 3rd night of our stay, with very little sleep we were feeling very tired and this was not down to too much of the `black stuff!`. Hotel staff were friendly and polite.

"fantastic location"
Adams Trinity is in a fantastic location 2 mins from temple bar and 2 mins from Grafton street. My one comment would be the noise level and the hotel could probably do with double glazing to block some of this out, (although on New Years Eve this is to be expected!) but other than this good sized rooms, nice breakfast, ace bar and perfect location! I would definitely go again!

"The hotel was good. The evenning meals and service in the evenning was very good. "
The staff changed for the morning breakfast. You felt rushed, the tables were not always cleared. One morning I asked for a teaspoon to stir my coffee and the staff told me there were none left. She was Chinese and I really think she meant there were none washed. I was told to use what cuttlery was there, so I used a soup spoon. Well at £100.00 per person for the two nights one would think that there would be no problems. However, the evenning restaurant staff and the reception staff were very good

"We had a great weekend and were looked after very well."
I booked a weekend away for ten of us in Dublin. I wanted good comfortable acommodation close to Temple Bar at a reasonable price. I was not disapointed and neither were the other nine, in fact not one had a bad word to say about our stay and that is unheard of !! The staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and tidy. Of my five visits to Dublin this was the best value hotel I have stayed in. I would and will reccommend it to anyone who asks. Thanks for giving us a great weekend away.

"Hotel in good location, but ring and ask for specific directions or could get lost!!!"
Very nice hotel, rooms a decent size although still seems to have smoking in some rooms and woke up feeling as if we had a 30 a day habit!!!! Very friendly and helpful staff would recommend this to anyone staying in Dublin and very reasonably priced.

"Very central, great for exploring Dublin, but can be noisy at night."
The staff were very helpful and informative. The room was a bit shabby (broken window catches, threadbear bed cover, curtains unhooked) and the bathroom was past its best, (broken & dirty tiles). The room was serviced every day with lovely fresh bedding & towel. The hotel is approached through a small alley, and unfortunately, the men in Dublin relieve themselves everywhere, so despite the constant street cleaning (especially during the night), there is a strong smell of mens urinals on many of the streets.

"Could do with updating"
If you require peaceful nights then the Adams Trinity is not the hotel for you, especially if you have a room at the front of the hotel.

"First class well run hotel with very friendly staff "
We stayed for for 6 nights all together (with a break in the middle to visit Cork). The hotel let us leave our excess baggage while we were away for 2 nights. Very clean rooms quite large for the size of the hotel. Clean laundry every day. Lots of character. Breakfast was average, but passable. The hotel is very close to Temple Bar, so it can be a very noisy at the weekends, but no more than you could expect for such a good location. Top spot as a base for sightseeing. Would highly recommend as a budget hotel Will definitely stay there again.
