The floors in the bedroom and bathroom were dirty on arrival and were not properly cleaned each day. I will be considering other hotels in the Leeds area for my next visit.

I enjoyed the swim and the facilities also on offer. Would definitely use them again or one of the other Village hotels around the country.

The room was freezing at night, my duvet didn`t fit the cover and even with the blanket I was really cold. Breakfast was very average with a lack of cereals to choose from. Gym, sauna and staff all as lovely as ever but dont scrimp on the extras, they really make the difference!

Hotel rooms were far too hot in the evening. No one in our party had any sleep. My two boys were really struggling. secondly the policy of only allowing children in the pool up to 5p.m. This is ridiculous in the summer holidays. I was evicted promptly at 5 pm with 3 other families, to then sit and watch an empty pool while having a drink. I noted the time and a solitary swimmer appeared at 6.10pm. Would it not be practical to review this timing during the school holidays. I personally think it would be an improvement.Sean Cush (07840153694)

However the breakfast was dissapointing in so much that when we came down for breakfast at 09.30 on a Sunday the restaurant was not really busy but all of the table remained uncleared, this continued throughout the time that we were in the breakfast restaurant the average time to clear a table was about 30 minutes after the guest had left it. This also had an impact on tea and coffee being served as the pots were still on the dirty tables. The breakfast itself was okay and there was certainly plenty of it.

Rather than having `vibe` suggest better customer service and attention to detail. Curtains needed fixing, not helpful about getting flowers to the room (my birthday). Breakfast food pretty poor, food on floor in restaurant during evening meal was there the next day as well. Staff not over welcoming - did the minimum, didnt explain the breakfast routine or enquire if we had enjoyed our stay. Dont think customer service is a major priority at this hotel, but perhaps you get what you pay for?

Staff were efficient when asked to do things but should not need to be asked. ie salt and pepper should always be on the restaurant dining tables, which guests are using and not have to be asked for. I noticed that some staff spent too much time talking with one another and not looking out for guests` needs. When sitting in the lounge the bar staff should look to see or ask if other guests there would like anything brought to them when they bring drinks through for other guests. This way guests on their own would not lose thier seats having to go to the bar themselves.
