Guest rating: | 10/1/2008 | | "A comfortable hotel, centrally positioned for many of the tourist attractions and La Rambla." | | | | Overall my partner and I were satisfied with our choice of hotel. The buffet breakfast which was included in the price was excellent and the location well within walking distance of many of the key tourist attractions. The only down side was that there was building work taking place across the road from the hotel, which started fairly early in the morning. It would also have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Guest rating: | 28/10/2007 | | "Great position" | | | | The triple room was great but the smell in the bathroom was unpleasant. We had a lovely stay here and apart from the smell we were very pleased with the hotel . It was good for a 3 star hotel and the breakfast provided quite a lot of choice. When we read reviews on the hotel at least one other person had mentioned the smell in the bathroom and by now they should have sorted it out!

Guest rating: | 22/10/2007 | | "Great location on a pedestrianised street in the old town" | | | | A comfortable and clean hotel with no frills. Good breakfast. A location that would be difficult to beat, just 150 metres from the airport bus stop at Pl de Catalunya, easy walking to all areas of the old town, and quiet.

Guest rating: | 2/5/2007 | | "Given a dreadful room with a window on to a ventilation shaft. Location of hotel is fantastic." | | | | The hotel is fabulously located. In the old town, within 5 minutes of the Ramblas and 200 yards from Placa de Catalunya. We were given a dreadful room with a window on to a ventilation shaft. You could not see the sky. The room was adequate for a 3 star. Breakfast was very poor. A very wide selection of very poor food and appalling coffee (which is hard to find in Southern Europe, but they have it in the Albinoni). We got breakfast elsewhere after the first day. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is the only real reason to stay at the Albinoni and the fact that hotel accommodation in Barcelona is very hard to find.

Guest rating: | 28/3/2007 | | "Perfect location. Hotel & Staff Very professional. Breakfast first class." | | | | The Hotel provides spacious, clean & comfortable accommodation. The `Period` building may be noisy for some, due to tiled floors and echoing corridors, but my party found the ambience entirely to our liking & would have no hesitation in returning to the Albinini when we are next in Barcelona.
