One or two things are a little dated/jaded (bathroom, stain on carpet) but the shower is fantastic and everything was spotless! Thank you. We would use them again without hesitation. One small improvemnt might be a washer /dryer instead of just washer as I found it difficult to dry clothes.

And finally very reasonable cost!

A few annoyances - the shower/bath setting reverted to shower - annoying if you were having a bath. The laminate floors were creaky and the CD player/radio was located too far away from an electric socket to use without moving it and the speakers.Overall though, the lounge and bedroom were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Easy to relax in a quiet location after a long day shopping and sightseeing.

The only complaints were the floors were very creaky, so we were glad we were on the top floor (sorry to any neighbours downstairs). The TV was a tad disappointing as it was jammed in between all the furniture and on the small side. All in all we had a lovely stay at Canon Court and would not rule out returning

Squeaky floorboards, doors that slammed shut, temperamental radio that was difficult to tune in, no working corkscrew in kitchen, nor wooden spoon or bowl for scrambling eggs. The extractor fan in the bathroom could only be switched on by standing on the toilet seat, and didn`t switch off until you switched it off the same way. Not sure if we would return.

The apartment was modern and clean with everything you need to get started. The receptionist on our arrival was particularly helpful. Bus stops just outside the hotel taking you either into Edinburgh itself or out to Britannia, etc. Very handy for the Royal Botannic Gardens, worth a visit.
