Had 2 beds pushed together instead of a proper double, despite request to change. Internet was vastly overpriced and didn`t work properly (go to an internet cafe), although they were understanding and we didn`t have to pay for it in the end because of this, which was nice. Would stay there again.

Hotel room and maid service good, however, carpets could possibly do with upgrading as they seemed a bit threadbare. It is also within walking distance of vatican, about 20-25 minutes. Good chinese/japanese restaurant over the road from hotel - a bit cheaper than some of the local trattorias. Food in the hotel also of a good standard. Would say if getting a taxi anywhere, ask the hotel to arrange it for you through the firm they use, we were ripped off a few times when picking up a taxi, often charged double for the same journey than when booked through the hotel. Overall would say a nice hotel, but the surrounding area was a bit run down. However, good supermarket again about 5 minutes from the hotel.

I hope it will not happen again.But in fairness to the staff they are good and helpful.

The only negative comment I could make about the room was the high temperature (in February), it was at times unbearably hot and even with the window wide open it was still uncomfortably high. Good variety of food available at the buffet breakfast, all tastes catered for.

The wall tiles had black grime in the grooves which could easily have been cleaned off with bleach. The room required repainting also and the carpet could do with being replaced. My parents stayed in the hotel also but their room was of a good standard. Otherwise, hotel staff were friendly, halls and corridors were well kept and nicely decorated and the breakfast provided was plentiful.

The location was good - 10 minute walk to St Peter`s Bassillica (Sisteen Chapel). Easy to get to from metro (Cipro). Our room was next to the resturant/bar lift and therefore a bit noisy late evening (lift noise not people) til 11.00pm and from 7.00am-10.00am.

Improvements such as-english speaking movie channel in rooms-ambience in restaurant need to be improved-restaurant meals to be better presented -tea making facilities could be put in rooms.these are all minor issues but would have made our stay much better.
