The city is steeped in history with its magnificent Cathedral and Edwardian buildings and this hotel is no exception being Europe`s oldest purpose-built hotel. There are plenty of places to shop nearby including both boutique and high street clothing stores as well as Salisbury Market, which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel and is open every Tuesday and Saturday. Other nearby attractions include the world-famous Stonehenge, which is easily accessed via the Stonehenge shuttle bus in 30-minutes and Fisherton Mill Gallery, which is located next to the Railway Station.

Getting there:

FROM SALISBURY RAILWAY STATION: Walk east towards S Western Rd until the second roundabout. Turn right onto Fisherton St and follow over the river until it becomes Bridge St. Continue onto Butcher Row and then turn right towards New Canal. Turn left and then turn right again onto New Canal. Walk left and continue onto Milford St, the hotel will be on the right.
