The Clarence Hotel located in Dublin`s Temple Bar district was originally built in 1852 and re-opened in 1996 after a 20 month refurbishment. Owned by 2 members of U2 - Bono and The Edge, this 5* luxury hotel is contemporary in style and places an emphasis on personal service. Many of the property`s original features, such as the wood panelling and stone floors, have been retained in the public areas, and all furnishings have been designed and crafted primarily by Irish artisans.
