"great location for secc"
rooms very clean. breakfast poor on 2nd morning - had to que to get table, had to que for hot breakfast, waiting for bacon etc.

Comfy, modern and spacious room. Convenient for SECC and Glasgow city centre. Only minor blemish was poor continental breakfast: the odd slice of cheese, salami and sliver of salmon.

We stayed in the Mint Hotel for 3 nights while atending a Trade show in the SECC.The river view from our room was beautiful, the setting peaceful and all rooms have apple computers. I would definitely stay here again.

Good quality hotel, almost boutique style, but not quite different enough to fall into that category. Friendly helpful staff, and excellent breakfast! Computer in room is very useful (and free internet access if required), but duvets are only synthetic - not really up to the mark for a hotel that strives to achieve a good quality.

"Really impressed with City Hotel"
We chose City Hotel Glasgow primarly because it was so close to SECC for the Rod Stewart concert. Despite there being a mix-up over dates booked - they had us down for the next night, my family was very impressed with the standard. We often stay in travel lodges or premier inn type accommodation, but this was much better. We actually asked to stay a further night, but the price was prohibitive.

We thought the three course dinner excellent value for money. All three courses were interesting and very tasty. Service excellent. High quality breakfast and the service excellent again.Room 327 very comfortble and quiet. We will certainly come again on our next trip to Glasgow.
