The hotel was very convenient in location as straight opposite kings cross . It was lovely and clean and the triple room we stayed in was very spacious. Staff were friendly and welcoming wold recommend this hotel

"Really Good"

Lovely clean room, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent location for shows /shopping/ sights etc as right by kings cross station only downside was room faced street and noisy on our one night stay which was a Sat as near to a hospital or ambulance station so we heard quite a lot of sirens in night and street noise from passers by however it is a capital city ! Really tastey and reasonably priced Lovely breakfast in their restaurant in the morning too. We would definately stay here again as the good things out weigh the noise factor.

A brief stay. Very good standard. Very clean and comfortable. Might have been spoiled by our "wake up call" coming 30 minutes late, but we were already up and about.

Stayed 4 nights in a triple room which was modern, clean & comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Also hotel was immediately adjacent to underpass to Kings Cross station providing quick access to rest of cityI would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone on a visit to London

"I recommend room 301"

Room was good and room 301 was quiet. I recommend this hotel as it is so close to st pancras. The only thing is that breakfast was not included.

"excellent location to reach Eurostar!"

We booked into Hotel Megaro with some American friends who were leaving for Paris via Eurostar. The location could not have been more convenient. In addition we found the accommodation excellent, the reception staff friendly and helpful, the granola and yogurt breakfast delicious. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

"Impressive! Lovely spacious room, huge bathroom; great to have real milk with tea and coffee!"

Ideal for Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to family and friends. Loved it!

"Very helpful staff. "

My wife forgot some medication and the staff were very helpful in getting an emergency prescription. Room was good although could have done with more effective curtains as the outside was floodlit, making the room rather bright. Excellent breakfast.

"Perfect location"

Three female travellers on a long weekend stay found this hotel a great place to stay. Arrived into Kings Cross Station, crossed the road, left luggage and away we went. Taxi into Covent Garden was about £8 and the Big Bus Co. Started out just outside the station so no problem in getting around. Room was clean and spacious and although it overlook a busy road noise wasn`t a problem. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and friendly. Didn`t eat in the restaurant but there are lots of places to eat nearby. Will definitely use this hotel again in future.

Excellent service, The receptions asked if we would prefer a room with a show rather than a room with a bath when she saw my wife had a disability. We had not asked specifically for anytype of room.

"Enjoyable stay in excellent surroundings"

Had an ideal 2 night stay in the Hotel Megaro. Room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Modern style and friendly staff. Extremely well priced for central London location. Ideally situated for tube and rail station. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to London.

"lovely hotel"

had a fab weekend with 2 teenage girls, we all loved the room ....... which was an unexpected but amazing upgrade. The moment i walked in the bathroom to find them both sat fully dressed in the deep square bath was hillarious. The staff on the front desk were so helpful and very friendly. The restaurant food was of very high quality, and the breakfast options were a pleasant change from the usual `english fry up`. We chose it mainly for the proximity to kingscross but it far out shines the hotels we have stayed in previously in the same area. Thankyou all so much you made my daughters birthday treat so much more special.

"Very convenient for sightseeing"

Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Lift wasn`t working but we were upgraded to a more convenient apartment so this wasn`t an issue. Weekend away with kids - easy to jump on tube and get anywhere quickly. Left bags on last day so could make use of every minute and pick them up quickly on way back to Kings Cross to catch train - great bonus to be able to do this. Breakfast was delicious but service at breakfast was very slow so allow plenty of time. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting London, especially by train as so near to Kings Cross.

"Location, Location, Location!!!"

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at the hotel. We came in from Paris on the Eurostar train at St. Pancras station and the hotel was just across the street. It was so convenient to get there with all of our luggage. The next day we were heading home and caught the tube at St. Pancras station to Heathrow airport. It was so easy! The rooms were very clean and neat, and with the heatwave occuring in London we really appreciated the airconditioned rooms. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and it was fabulous too. The stafff was very friendly as well. Overall great experience.

"Modern, clean and comfortable"

System was down for check in, but only had to wait a few minutes. Room was standard double wiith a chaise longue.very modern and smart. Range of refreshments was excellent. Everything we needed was there. Some sign as to what the range of teas were and also how to work the shower would improve it. Enjoyed our stay. Pity Hotel Direct bookings don`t include breakfast.

"Great Hotel"

Although we did not get the three beds requested the Hotel Staff were excellent and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable and we had a great time. The restaurant was also excellent.

"Friendly quirky hotel"

Great location for Kings Cross and St. Pancras. Very friendly welcome. Only downside was the staff at breakfast didn`t understand my Scottish accent. Could have got a free brekky as they didn`t put the bill through. But we came to an agreement. :)

"Comfortable clean and ideal location for us"

Tea and coffee facilities excellent with fresh milk available in room. Staff very friendly. Hotel Diresc made an excellent job of confirming our hotel prior to our visit. Tickets for the show were waiting for us instructed. Excellent day.

"We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel, and the staff were all very pleasant."

I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Megaro. The room was comfortable, the shower amazing and all the staff were very pleasant. A bonus is that it is so near to St. Pancras Station for the Eurostar service. The breakfast was excellent but we all found the lunchtime and evening menu`s were not to our taste and seemed fairly expensive so we ate in a retaurant in the station opposite.

Lovely large triple room, staff couldn`t do enough for us, however poorly designed shower/bath caused me to slip getting out resulting in a visit to a and e, which rather spoilt our trip to the capital for my daughters 21st.

"Very convenient, clean and well-managed but for us the quiet room would be essential"

We relished the proximity of the adjacent underpass to King`s Cross/St Pancras and Underground. Valued the visible external decoration which identified the hotel from afar. Room amply spacious with roomy en suite but don`t care for wide, square basin which is (a) hard to get any depth and (b) doesn`t keep the water hot! Good bath/shower but grab handles and safety shower mats need to be provided

Excellent Hotel, great location and very easy to find. The staff were very helpful. Rooms of a high standard, great for the price. Definitely recommend the hotel. will be staying there again.

"Expensive stopover. "

Reception staff were friendly. The beds were uncomfortable, one was a sofa bed and the other was a pull down bed. Adequate for a quick stopover before getting an early Eurostar train, but expensive.

"Don`t bother with the Hilton, stay here!"

What a find this hotel was!Stayed 2 nights. Funky decor with comfort, friendly service and extras like espresso machine and great space. From wheelchair user point of view, the turning circle was small into lift and lift was also small. Wouldn`t have coped with a large chair. My jazzy was a `just about`. Bed was low but comfortable. We had a superb bathroom with level access and good height loo and very smart rain effect shower. Very clean and nice to have a super quality tv. Room was very good size with sofa.The attached restaurant was very enjoyable with lush food and a wide choice of breakfast and evening meals.Think the price was reasonable for London. It`s literally opposite the st pancras station and 15 mins from the west end on foot.

"Good location"

Clean and good location, difficult to spot as signage is very small and appears to be same building as Barclays bank. Room was spacious and comfortable although with location be prepared for a lot of Street noise, we were on 6 th floor and it was very noticeable, double glazing would help as our room had at least 4 windows which was great for views and light but not so good for noise prevention. Restaurant was expensive and we had 3 hot drinks that were lukewarm and one alcaholoc drink not mixed correctly and someone else`s meals on our bill. That said the restaurant was pleasant enough to sit and have a drink but would advise eatingelsewhere value. Staff in hotel were friendly and helpful and would recommend for short stay.

Great location regarding all tube lines hotel staff friendly and very helpful very professional. Room was excellent there were 3 of us and it was perfect. There also was a very lovely clean smell thru-out hotel. A total and complete success
