"Good nights sleep spoilt by overly noisy doors shutting (slamming)"
Resturant Menu in the rooms not the same as the Menu given in the Restuarant. So evening meal not as good as wished. I can`t see us returning.

good value close to airport. hoppa bus from door to door. Hotel clean rooms ok. Food good but service slightly slow. Buffet caters for all tastes, Would use hotel again and recommend to friends.

"Great Hotel"
We booked this hotel as it was close to terminal 4 at Heathrow but the hotel proved to be exceptional value. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here and probably at one of their other hotels in London.

"Perfect overnighter for Heathrow flight"
All we needed was a clean comfortable room in a hotel close to Heathrow for an early morning start. This hotel was perfect for that. Warm welcoming service, food & bar service available, on the Hoppa route for all the terminals

Good hotel. Staff was very helpful and cordial. However, restaurant is too expensive, as was usage of your very slow and difficult computers. Also, no hair dryer in my room. which I discovered after washig my hair in preparation for quick departure on the morning of 9-23. Had to leave with wet hair. .

"You could advise potential customers that it is better to take a taxi from the underground."
The hoppa bus from underground terminal 5 station, took an hour to reach the hotel, even though the Thistle hotel is the nearest one to Terminal 5. The bus went to every other hotel on its route, before going to the Thistle. A taxi would have been a much better idea, and only slightly more expensive..

Considering the price of the room i found the accommodation more than satisfactory, the bed really comfortable and the staff amazing. Breakfast was good value too. I wll recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to London. Thankyou for the upgrade.

"Convenient and well priced"
Overall the hotel was fine, staff were polite and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.Unfortunately the bar by comparison, was lacking. Following a long flight we were looking forward to a relaxing drink, however, the bar lacked a decent ale and the bar person did not know the difference between wines. With all the first class brewers in and around London, it was dissapointing to find largers and ciders but no real ale at the bar. You should also consider, that free wireless internet in hotel rooms is standard these days and would benefits the customer and the hotel mutually.Otherwise, our stay was very comfortable and we would certainly return to stay with you again.

"Excellent service and great food for a modest cost"
It was a happy surprise to stay at the Thistle Heathrow. We`d expected to have very limited accommodations and service based on the modest cost of the room with full breakfast. instead, we had special service from Prashant at the desk, who helped us print out boarding passes for the next day`s flight, and we had special attention from Amender in the hotel dining room who understood our exhaustion and thirst and brought us a pitcher of water with lemon and a pot of excellent coffee rather than the usual glass and cup. I will recommend Thistle to others on an ongoing basis and look forward to finding other Thistles on my next trip to Great Britain.

"Too noisy but convenient"
I liked being able to get the free bus to and from the airport, and having a decent restaurant there was better than having to walk down the road to some fast food place. The room was also quite pleasant. What spoiled this hotel for me was that, although I asked for a quiet room, I was given one in the corridor leading to the registration desk and was thus kept awake by people yelling at each other and slamming doors. Since I had to get up at 5.30 am, this was irritating. The wakeup call was also a bit late, though it didn`t matter, as I was awake anyway.

We were made to feel very welcome in this convenient hotel right by the airport we had a relaxing evening and fantastic meal in the resteraunt the staff were very tentative and helpfull and our room was very clean and comfortableWe will definatley book again !!

I must take the time to congratulate the kitchen staff. the meals were of excellent quality, all of the staff I came into contact with were curteous and helpful. all other areas of the hotel were to a high standard and the food was so good I would come back just for that.

Our biggest problem was finding the way out of the hotel when we were struggling with suitcases and trying to get to a shuttle bus. Obviously we must have missed a sign and we ended up going out of a fire exit to get out of the building! Please improve the signing.

"Excellent Staff - Helpful, Kind and Courteous"
Good value for money, close to Heathrow airport consequently very handy for travellers and one assumes that it is it`s raison d`etre. I found the staff made up for any hiccups that I encountered.I do think that maintenance might need to check the TV`s in the room, mine was not functioning though staff very helpful in wanting to repair it. I didn`t bother as I only wanted to watch the News, I prefer a newspaper. Rooms small but very clean and quite comfortable. The only thing I objected to was the Pounds 5 charge for room service, so that the cost of bringing a tray to one`s room was 5 Pounds...far too much as the meals were not inexpensive. The other was the antiquated used of wireless broadband which was way too expensive at 6Pound for 90 minutes. I would give the hotel a 7out of 10 and a 3 Star rating.

Very dissapointing for a 4 star hotel........The rooms were tiny, no room for luggage at all. Breakfast and wifi are charged at a ridiculous rate. There is no fridge or mini bar in the rooms!
