"Nice hotel"

Overall I enjoyed my stay, but the lack of parking was a problem and the dissinterest of the staff about the parking was irretating. However the staff who were serving, ie. in the bar were extremely helpful and friendly.

Nice room/grand building....service a bit average. Lovely area and local restaurants. It is a shame that the use of the spa was implied but you had to pay extra for this if you book `room only`.

"Good price and location "

Good price, amazing breakfast and comfy beds but shower was weak and sprayed backwards so was pretty useless. Too far to walk into the centre but 5 min taxi ride and plenty of on street parking. Cute little place :)

"Very enjoyable."

Staff very helpful. Location was perfect for us as would not have wanted to be on top of the town. Enjoyed the walk each day. Had a massage and enjoyed it immensely. Rooms may not have been that large however has everything we needed in it. Rooms cleaned daily. Thank you very much, we really enjoyed our visit. Xx

"Good value for money excelent breakfast "

Minor gripes, 1, could do with a mirror local to the power point and desk for wife to do hair / make up, 2, glasses/tumbler in room to have a drink of water rather than a mug !

"Better placed as a 3*."

Expect a 3* and you won`t be disappionted. Looking tired on closer inspection. Double duvets on king size beds. Bleach and iron scorched carpets.

"Not as nice as we expected!"

Rooms were very very small, carpets were not cleaned, bathroom was tiny.Breakfast was fine.All adequate but we expected more.

"Lovely Place"

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Only had my booking for one night instead of 2 but were able to accommodate me for both. Rooms clean, not as boutique as expected but nice. Bar and cocktails were lovely. Only flaw was room was right next to lift. I would stay there again.

"Amazing SPA, especially the Mon-Fri Pick and Mix treatment! - gr8 way 2 start a weekend."

great hotel break for a weekend away - but not for a really special one (as the hotel is in need of a bit of maintenance)! The SPA was excellent and good value for money. well located 1 min walk to the beach away from the crowds! or 15-20 min walk to the Pavillion...but we only realised on our last if you go right out of the hotel you are 3 mins from Starbucks and a main drag to Churchill Sq.

"Lovely hotel BUT not with out its issues"

Put it this way - If you want to use the toilet - take an umbrella. Upon arrival we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a `large room` (room 116) - Once we got into the room the we noticed the bathroom was flooded and leaking yellow water from the roof. We asked if we could swap rooms - but the hotel was apparently full - thanks for the upgrade. The leak seemed like it was coming from the toilet upstairs and had clearly been like that for a long time given the water stains on the walls bathtub and toilet. We spent our one there using the lobby for relief. Apart from that - I cant fault the place, it was lovely. But thats a pretty major fault! - Stop pretending you dont know about it and get it fixed guys.

"Lansdowne Place"

I probably wouldn`t class this as a 4* hotel. The room didn`t have air conditioning for a start. There was no mini bar in the room. We had to be patient with the shower while it set at an acceptable temperature, and when it did, the flow was a mere trickle. I just found the whole experience rather disappointing and would not recommend this hotel.
