"Great Location"

The Corona offers a great location and easy to find from the nearby Metro stop. Lots of good restaurants and bars are on the door step if you don`t want to venture to far after a busy day sightseeing. The staff are very friendly and helptful.

"Good location, clean rooms, fully equipped, friendly staff and great ambiance altogether."

One word about the doors leading into the rooms. Light comes in through gaps between the door and the door frame and so does noise - this is good for early risers only. And another about the lift - it says four people - well we were two, of medium build and no excess weight - we hardly fitted in. Four would fit only if laid one on top the other, not to mention luggage.

"Helpful friendly staff "

You must remember that hotel rooms in France are smaller than those in England, however who spends a lot of time in a hotel room when in Paris - too much to see. The hotel was clean and staff were always on hand for a cup of tea if you needed one.

Very comfortable room. Clean with all necessities. Found the mattress uncomfortable, could feel the springs and soft.Central with eateries of every country and price range, + bistro with entertainments all within 100 metres.Quiet, although central as in small are, cite bergere, behind main streetsStaff extremely friendly and helpfulCheapish internet available.Hot breakfast was adequate but overpriced. Croissants soggy, only white plastic bread & no crackers available. Would much prefer to be able to book without £12 breakfast, especailly since there are excellent cafes & bakeries within metre of hotel

Good location. Handy for the metro. Easy walking distance for both Monmatre and the river.Good breakfast. Rooms fairly small but normal for Paris. Could have done with tea/coffee facilities in the room. The location was noisy early morning.

"Everything was less than average except the receptionist and location"

I paid a lot of money for this hotel but what we got was much less than what we should get.Everything was average... but nothing was like a hotel. everything was like a B&B.Location was fantastic and receptionist (is he a manager of this hotel?? i dont know.. but he should be able to step up to a normal high quality hotel as a manager!!) was really helpful and professional.I do recommend this hotel if you are just looking for a place to sleep but nothing else.but to remind you once again, it is not worth the money.

Very good location for interesting eating places and convenient for underground. Not luxurious, but then the price paid reflects that.

"An enjoyable stay overall. However, I did find the room was very small and difficult to move around"

The staff were very helpful and courteous and an excellent breakfast was available. I believe it was good value but with the constraint on room size. (Chambre 111)I took the coach from the hotel to airport and was collected promptly but it did not take 1 hour but more the one and a half hours. You should make guests aware that many hotels will be visited before the 1 hour journey commences. I may use the hotel again.

"Aint Paris expensive ! Cheapest pint of beer was at the Irish Pub ! £5,50 a pint !!! "

From directions given we found Hotel difficult to find. It was up a passageway that you wouldnt normally frequent on your own. Once there the Hotel was OK. The reception staff were excellent in providing info. The breakfast - although adequate - was a little uninspiring and very repetative.

"Good, basic hotel, adequate for a short stay. Good location for getting about on foot or by metro."

Excellent and helpful staff. Room was smallish but comfortable for a short stay. Very clean and modern en suite, although bath was rather small. Breakfast was good,although when the dining area was busy you sometimes had to wait for a table. Although the hotel is up an at first sight a rather unattractive lane it is a quiet location and very well positioned for sightseeing. If fit, you can easily walk to the sights, otherwise very handy for the metro. Good eating places nearby. I would have no hesitation in returning.

"Friendly place, typically parisian, tidy and easy to get to. "

We arrived at 11am and got into our room straight away on presenting our printed out email confirmation as proof of booking. Nice medium sized, tidy room with good on suite, not the ritz but good enough for 4 day stay. Room did smell a bit of old cigarette smoke, which is typical of most parisian smaller hotels I think but nothing that having the window open for an hour didnt fix. Very friendly desk staff morning and night (even when comming in slightly drunk at 2am!). Good simple breakfast choice, continental and french fry up! Coffee and tea on tap too. Also central to all main attractions, and a Metro station within 2 mins walk from door of hotel. Would deffinately stay there agian on a quick visit.

"The Corona Opera is very well situated - easy access to the metro and lots of restaurants nearby."

We found the hotel to be very clean and the staff all very helpful and pleasant. However, our room was very small and in need of refurbishment. There was no air-conditioning. That said, the bathroom was new, and a bath rather than a shower most welcome. Breakfast was very good - plentiful and well presented.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and so long as you don`t expect huge modern rooms you will not be dissapointed, the room we had was clean warm and perfectly suitable for our needs. The only thing we did not like was the `lift` music` which was pretty awful.

"Satisfactory for a cheap hotel"

Asked for double room, got twin beds pushed together, not very romantique. Moved rooms next day. No Wifi Saturday night, so no email pick ups for business. Noisy echoing front yard.Courteous staff. "Full Cooked breakfast" old watery scrambled egg.

"Generally very good "

overall the service was good and the rooms are of a reasonable standard expected from the classification. The only problem was the room temperature control and ventilation. Neither the bath room vent or the air vent to the room worked, and at times the room was very stuffy and hot. As it was winter it means you freeze if you open the window for any length of time. Otherwise everything was satisfactory.

The rooms were a little small but were clean and tidy. The shower was powerful and the bathroom in general was spotlessly clean.The buffet style breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. We would stay here again
