This room was very spacious, the walk in shower had a seat and grab rails. Over all the cleanliness was first class. The toiletries in the bathroom were very good quality. In the public areas the staff were always on hand and willing to help.

Take advantage of the early bird menu at the hotel restaurant, really good food, and competatively priced.The family room was clean, modern, but a little small.The hotel receptionists were a little unwelcoming, and cold, but the conceierge, Raj, has a excellent knowledge of London, is approachable, and helpful. I would stay at the hotel in the future.

Service, quality and standard were all excellent, we cannot wait until we can stay there again. Central position and easy access to the underground, museums and the Royal Albert Hall, which is where we were on the Friday evening of our stay. Thank you we cannot wait to see you all again.

The underground station was just a walk over the road. We only had breakfast which was good old fashioned English as well as continental.

It was a family weekend break to visit the History and Science museums and was perfectly located for these and good for short tube rides to Picadilly, Covent Garden etc. The hotel was attractive, extremely clean and comfortable and very good value for money when booked through Hotel Direct. My only complaint was that the air conditioning was not efficient at all and we were baking all through the night. Apparently nothing was wrong with the air con it just didn`t work very well. We were given an electric fan by the helpful staff but it didn`t really make a difference as it was a hot weekend. The breakfast was great, our two kids 5 and 8 were in heaven!

Situated on a quieter side of the hotel providing a good nights sleep for us all. The breakfast was standard hotel fayre. Minor negatives--- the lift is in demand at popular times as there is only one. You can watch the doors open and close numerous times to be greeted by either a full lift or once you manage to squeeze in full landings prior to arriving at your chosen floor.The parking is close by however, The Hotel Direct website stated £25 for 24 hrs. The Crowne Plaza site states £35. It is actually £27 for 24 hrs. I wasn`t going to quibble over £4 extra but it could but more accurate in its information to prevent blank looks at the concierge desk.Oh and £12 for two halfs of lager and a lemonade...go to the pub opposite Gloucester Rd tube station.

We had booked a non smoking family room and on check in everything was fast and efficient. However when we got to the room there were 2 double beds and although a non smoking room the room had obviously been used very recently by smokers.We contacated reception straight away and asked if it was possible to have a family room with 2 single beds for our teenagers but were told that they did not have such rooms? After a little negotiation our room was changed to a less smelly alternative yet !!we still had to be creative with the sleeping arrangements.Breakfast was great and the staff friendly. The concierge very knowledgeable and the location good. We would stay again.

The hotel itself was beautiful, with a spacious lobby with plenty of places to relax. Check-in was speedy and smooth. The room was modern and very spacious, espcially as we were staying with our two children. The room actually had two king size beds, and still space to move around comfortably. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again.
