"Beatiful location & Building - so much potential"
If one expects magnificent location and a building which carries with it all the history of the surounding Vatican, then its the place for you. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly.But beware if what you are after is a modern (or simply luxurious ) hotel, this is not it.How I wish more use was made of the various open rooms, instead these set bare and empty. We would have loved to spend a few hours in the evening over a nightcap enjoying the atmosphere, but unfortunately the only `bar` in the hotel seemed to be the restaurant. I will assume that we fell foul of season - we were there at the end of November.Two additional (small) negatives - breakfast was very barren and at night the noise from other guests arriving/leaving and the slamming doors did disturb the otherwise silent night - maybe a few well positioned door-stoppers would help that?

Hotel is on the road leading to St Peters. With tourist buses leaving from outside the door to all the main attractions. The staff were all friendly and helpful. i didn`t book breakfast or eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food. The menu did look up market and a bit pricey but with so many good resturants around does not matter. The room was basic but clean with room service everty day and free safe. overall a fantastic place to stay in Rome
