"ideally situated, quiet location, very kind, friendly staff."
Stayed here for two nights during October half term week. The hotel is well placed for a number of attractions and is within easy walking distance of Rembrandt`s House, Canal tour boats, the Red Light District and the flower market. In fact, as a relatively small city, we found most places in Amsterdam to be walkable, even Anne Frank`s House was only about 20 minutes away. Watch out for cyclists everywhere when crossing roads! The hotel staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, spoke good English and even gave us a free Breakfast on the first morning. This hotel is not five star luxury, nor does it pretend to be, but it has a lovely ambience and I was very pleased that we had chosen it.
