"Good Hotel, Great Breakfast, Expensive parking"

Pros.Brilliant to get to by car. Outside congestion zone. Bus station and tube station 2min walk. Hotel room small but reasonably well appointed. Very nice reception and dining room. Breakfast really great, plenty of choice and very attentive service.Cons.Parking charged a £1.50 an hr for residents (not advertised on any website) so cost me £75 for two days. Have 10mins to leave the car park otherwise they charge you for another hour.

the hotel was fine for what we wanted wouldnt liked to of stayed more that one night. beds hard! breakfast was lovely lots of choice only moan we were told breakfast was 6am -12am we were there at 10.30 however when my daughter asked for a glass of water at 11.am she was told that serving had stopped and everything was cleared up by 11.15

Stayed last Friday night (25 Nov 2011) Hotel only 10 mins from Hammersmith underground. Staff friendly nice clean room breakfast very nice lots of choice ie:- porrage, fruit pancakes and all the usual bacon and eggs sausage and beans ect. Would recommend and certainly stay again.

"Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean"

Hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Comfy beds with a delicious breakfast. Close to Hammersmith tube station. Not close to kensington. Churches and shops close by. A little further out than I would have liked but the hotel and proximity to the tube made up for that.

"Smart, quiet, clean and close to the Tube"

We wanted somewhere to stay for the weekend to use as a base for visiting the sights. Although a bit out of town, it was easy to get to on the Tube, so not a problem. Staff were helpful and hotel was smart and clean. The boys slept on twin sofa beds which were surprisingly comfortable! Our deal included breakfast, which was a real bonus as you could just choose whatever you wanted from the buffet: great for setting you up for a day of sight-seeing.Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was good as you would expect from its star rating but we felt that Hammersmith was quite a way out for a theatre break as we were with children on the underground I would choose somewhere more central next time. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, although there was a wide range of food the quality was average and we were led off to tables in a bar area at the back of the hotel a long way away from the buffet as it was very overcrowded and felt very impersonal. The room was excellent however as was service from reception and porter.

The room we were given had a smokey smell, we mentioned this at Reception, we were told it was not a problem to move rooms. On return to our room in the evening the smell was still there, we informed Reception ad we were moved straight away. The Buffet breakfast was fantastic, we were spoilt for choice! Everything was being constantly replaced, all looked fresh and tasted good too! We think the hotel was excellent, very clean, comfortable beds and rooms were not noisy. Excellent value compared to many other similar hotels, the breakfast is often not included in the price, we would use this again as our base when visiting London.

"5 day stay with 14 year old girl"

Nice hotel, very clean rooms. The breakfast was abundant. The staff was attentive and friendly. At all a quiet atmosphere.The dinner in the Artisan Restaurant was tasty and the waiter was very helpful and obliging.Unfortunately I must report the disagreeable saturday night (our last) spent in your hotel on 10-11 September 2011. Very loud music was coming from a room below where a party was celebrated that made the bed vibrate and impossible to sleep. Despite complaining at the reception to reduce volume the noise was going on undiminished and the party ended at 01.00 am . In conclusion, the direction for the duration of the party was completely uninterested in the other guests and what was worse, has not even apologized for the inconvenience.

"Good location, comfortable beds and great breakfast"

We stayed here for a weekend trip with our 6 year old son. Hotel is in a good location for sightseeing in central London - a few minutes walk from Hammersmith Underground. Found the beds really comfortable and the breakfast is great - a huge choice with hot and cold self-service buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful and children were welcomed.

"Extremely good value for the Hotels Direct price"

Family room was adequate, a king size bed and a double sofa bed for our grandchildren aged 12 and 7. The staff at reception were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Only a few minutes walk from the tube (Piccadilly line) and buses plus plenty of parking at reasonable rates for residents underneath the hotel. Would stay there again.

"Good location, especially to easily access Heathrow without the expensive fast rail. Offpeak fast."

Comfortable room, close to metro (2 lines). Breakfast reasonable, but be aware all extras really cost. Don`t touch mini fridge as any movement of content automatically incurs a cost.

I stayed at the NOVOTEL for 2 nights with my partner and two young children it was lovely and the breakfast was beautiful and the options that were available really suited my family the full english breakfast option was lovely. The staff were efficent and polite and professional the only thing that was poor was the television had poor reception so half way through a programme it would flicker on and off and remote control had a mind of its own as to when it would work but otherwise would stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Our only issue was when my son was using the computers and told to get off as a lady wanted to look at her emails. If children arent to use them then there should be a sign, but as a guest i would expect him to have the same rights as adults.
