"Pathetic "

Worst experience ever. From unresponsive receptionists, sinks that take forever to drain, doors that don`t lock well etc. No WiFi! Pathetic to say the least!

"Will not stop at this hotel again"

When we arrived we got to our room, to find we were not given a key to room, when we went down for breakfast they wanted to charge my daughter and myself over £21.00 as we hadn`t booked at the time of reservation, which I find awful. Our room was musty, and no vent in shower for steam to vent.

"Stay in Travelodge and stay away from the windowless room"

I thought I got a bargain and did not mind a room without a window. However, there was a vent on the ceiling making noise whole night as it H & S to have that vent. But customers should be warned. Upon speaking to reception, I was told that how it is. More so, carpet has stained and bathroom had mould around taps etc. Same price Travelodge much better.

"Booked Executive Double Room.Was worst room I have ever Been in, in any hotel."

1st room we got too was dirty,wallpaper hanging off the walls. windows so dirty you couldn`t see through them. chairs filthy and shabby.Requested a move. 2nd room just as shabby. had a hole in the ceiling and had an intermittent leak.reported it three times., no action taken. asked for a refund and was refused. no offer of any compensation or even an apology. staff even lied to us regarding maintainance. am taking this matter further.

"Would not recommend."

`Free Wifi doesn`t work`. All staff are rude and unhelpful. Bugs crawling around the room. Lock doesn`t work. Key card needs constant recharging. To see full review - find on trip advisor.

"Perfectly adequate"

Good central location. Decent enough bed, pillows and everything else. I had an internal room with no windows, whig was fine for me as I was only in the room for about half an hour each side of sleeping. 11am checkout felt early.

"Got what you paid for"

We got a cheap room with no windows. Double with shower, toilet and sink and the usual tv kettle etc. A bit rough around the edges (we think the main light broke, but there was plenty of other lights). However, at the pricepoint we paid, and considering the location, it was good value for money. Good looking hotel as well.

"I NEEDED A VALUE OVERNIGHT STAY AND THE HOTEL DID THAT"

GOOD SIZE ROOM BUT THE DECOR WAS TIRED AND THE BATHROOM NEEDED URGENT REFURBISHMENT. iT WAS SCRUFFY.

"ROOMS WITH NO WINDOW"

We stayed here for one night and we paid £73 The room had no windows We asked unhelpfull rude Receptionist if we can change the room He said when we book this hotel from Hotel direct web site we choose room without window thats why we are paying £73.00. Which complete rubbish. Room was boiling in there, the aircon didnt work and the fan in the room was useless. I would hate to be in that room in summer. The shower was either dangerously scalding or freezing with no control. NOT RECOMENDED AT ALL !!!!!

"No window in Economy Room- Health and Safety?"

Staff very helpful. Free upgrade from windowless Economy room, faulty light and blocked sink. I WOULD not recommend the Britannia Sachas. No indication in on-line information about economy rooms are windowless. Margaret Reed.

"HEALTH HAZZARD"

I can`t velieve you as a company would want to be associated with this hotel.The only good thing about it is the location in that it is so close to the city centre.The ceiling in our room it caked/ riddled in mould, the carpets & walls are covered in mould/ stains.The walls them selves are so thin you can can hear everything in the next room.The sink in the bathrom was blocked with the previous occupants vomit. The bath wasn`t fitted properly & there was again mould all roung the edge. This hotel is a health hazzard & I am going to report it to environmental health. Please spend a bit more money, stay somewhere else & enjoy your experience of Manchester.

"Good friendly staff"

Only problem was room was far too hot and did not cool down with air conditioner on
