"We have used the Carrington house hotel four times in the last twelve months."

The hotel is clean and basic and good value for money.

"Shabby , carpets worn and stained in bedroom , fittings worn but everything working as it should ."

Comfort of room adequate , breakfast ok ,Customer service good , parking good , Homely feel good for families & people with pets , nice location .Good facilities .

"carrington house"

Booked at the last minute, carpets and decor could do with a refresh, but staff and food was excellent. Would definitely stay her again.

"Wouldn`t stay."

Dirty, mouldy Windows and bathroom, stains all on the floor in room. Bedding was dirty. Refused to stay the night and went home

"All turned out well for the best..."

We had a family room. Very cramped for the four of us, tired decor and shabby looking furnishings. We complained due to the smell of the room - sick and poo not in our wish list here!The hotel was full so we couldn`t change our room, however we were moved to a far superior Britannia hotel The Royal Bath. This hotel was far better! I don`t think I`ll be staying at The Carrington with my family. This is more suited for stag/hen dos or for couples etc. Not families.

"Good value for the price"

Friendly staff, clean rooms and public areas, good breakfasts. Is a bit dated but is good value for the price. There is a nice walk through public gardens to the beach at Boscombe Pier. Much more character than a budget chain hotel.

"Clean, cheap and convenient"

Room spacious and clean, everything there that we needed. Reception staff helpful and approachable, food good, no complaints. For what we paid it was fantastic value.

"Walking distance to town, clean and affordable "

The room was more than big enough for the three of us. There were actually five beds. Staff were helpful. The swimming pool was a nice extra to add to the stay. The decor was pleasant but slightly tatty in places. I would stay again for a convenient short stay in Bournemouth.

the hotel is very tired and dated, but the room was large, the sheets and towels were spotless, beds and pillows new and very firm. Just attending to some basic upkeep/maintenance, and ensuring staff have a program of cleaning rather than adhoc when someone points out an issue, would make such a huge difference.

The interior of the carrington house hotel is much better than it looks from the outside but my partner and I were pleased with our room although the curtain had a rather unsightly rip in it, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful and, apart from the noise a large group of students made on one night, we would definightly go back. The value for money at this time of year was excellent and the food was good.

"Friendly staff"

Hotel is looking tired and dated. Needs upgrade on the showers as very poor pressure. Good room size for a family room, and comfy beds.Swimming pool a little cold and tired.

Bedroom and bathroom not s great standard, swimming pool water was freezing
