The Paragon staff try hard to please in difficult circumstances. The hotel has clearly been refurbished but the small bedrooms and huge public rooms all situated at the end of long corridors sit oddly together. Its position in a part of Birmingham which the centre has somehow passed by is not attractive. It manages to feel rather institutional in character. We would not be tempted to a repeat visit.
