Took one look at the room and decided I could not stop there it was absolutely filthy the bedding could only be described as shoddy The bedding it was ripped put on the inside out there was also a blood stain on the pillowcases there is black mould on the walls and cobwebs

Paid extra for a room with a view. windows dirty so didn`t have much of a view.! Food was good and choice also good. Whole place needs a bit of TLC.Staff were efficient, helpful ..

Stayed one night was an ok room had better had worse.but the staff I spoke to was lovely.

"Comfy beds and good size rooms as well as being nice and clean"

I was a little cold night time in the room because the heating although set on 5 did not always come on. It did get warm around 2am until morning but evening time 8pm - 2pm I was freezing.

"the hotel was well worth the money great food and helpfull staff"

the entertainment was not that good, the rooms were spot on very warm, parking was a bit tight,and requires a £3 fee overall not a bad hotel for the price.

"Have stopped in worse."

Do not expect too much.The hotel is in desperate need of updating.It is in a good location if you want to be in the middle of town.Rooms are Basic old but Clean.The Breakfast is average.Car parking is limited its first come first served be prepared to use alternative pay car parks which there are plenty.

"No Towels, windows one can`t see through!"

I didn`t expect a view but I thought I would at least get a window I could see through. Still once I opened the window all I could see was old pipes. I opened the window to get rid of the tobacco smell and got another more awful smell instead. My husband had attempted a shower but found no towels. I thought to phone down but no phone. I went down to reception and waited behind two very tired men trying to get the rooms reserved for them by an employer. While they attempted to get in touch with this employer (it was after six by then) to confirmed he had paid for their rooms I asked for towels and some herb tea (no way) and coffee and milk (which I got) and was assured I would have my towels in minutes. On the way back I looked at the restaurant and a waitress told me not to eat there. A second trip to reception then a third and alost an hour later towels came to the room. Lots of other things to annoy but this review is too small.

"Better than expected."

Me and my wife found this hotel to be in a great location in blackpool with a price that matched. Everything you could want to do is within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel itself was well maintained and clean, the only thing we would improve is a lick of paint in the odd place and some furniture was a bit dated. The staff were more than happy to help when needed and they serve a good breakfast. All the bad reviews obviously expected red carpet treatment for the price they paid. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

"Excellent value for money budget hotel. "

If you are looking for luxury and being waited on hand and foot this is not the hotel for you but if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel and a room that is spotless, this hotel is the best for value that we have stayed in for a long time.The breakfast was excellent and varied .Car parking was not a problem but may be in the height of the season.

The hotel reception and breakfast were good the room was excellent with a nice view over the water. My only concern was the parking I realise its first come first there but I had my mother with me who has a disability badge as she can`t walk far and we had to park 15 minutes away and walk with our bags as the car park was full. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we could park.
