"Comfortable city centre hotel in the Gothic Quarter"
Good 3 star hotel in perfect location to explore the gothic quarter and Gaudi`s Casa Battlo and The Pedrera. Good facilities including small outdoor pool in the summer months. Good sized comfortable rooms, very quiet. Good breakfast, somewhat less impressed with dinner but there are lots of good places to eat nearby. Nice lounge bar but bar staff didn`t seem overseen to serve you most nights.

"Good value for money"
Prime location for seeing the sights and easy access to the town. Hotel rooms good size and clean.Staff helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast adequate. Would certainly use this hotel again.

Our stay at the Mont Blanc was very pleasant. The rooms were a good size and were modern and clean. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is in an excellent position for sightseeing with the metro and buses on the doorstep. The swimming pool is small but adequate and there were plenty of sun loungers and towels. Unfortunately the food was poor - there was plenty of choice at breakfast but the coffee was luke warm, the bread was hard, the fruit past its best and our cooked breakfast was inedible. A great pity in what otherwise is a lovely hotel.

We wanted a hotel that was clean and comfortable and that`s exactly what we got. The rooms are basic but that suited us as we were out and about most of the time. It`s central to everything and the terrace with small swimming pool is an added bonus. It was a little noisy at times, we could hear building work and could hear people showering in the next room, but this didn`t bother us at all. Overall a good hotel, perfect for a city break

Good decor, polite reception staff. Good facilities for the star rating. Breakfast was acceptable but could have been better. Tables not cleared quickly enough and some staff unwilling to engage and help. Toaster system is the worst and slowest I have ever seen. Overall good experience and I would recommend it and use it again.

Excellent location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast open till 11am which was a bonus.. Pool a bonus..Will be hoping to return for 7 days next summer if the right price. Thank youi.

Friendly staff, very pleasant reception area. Clean and comfortable room, thankfully overlooking the terrace so no traffic noise. Breakfast a little disappointing because the bread was not as fresh as it should have been. Easy access for transport to tour the city.

I would highly recommend this hotel at any price but for their price they can`t be beat. Perfect location perfect perfect. Staff friendly and helpful. Did I mention Location perfect. Only slight knock I didn`t like bkfast that much but value for your dollar perfect. Autobus from airport to pl Catalunya ?6. 21/2 blks and you`re there. Perfect

Found the hotel very good for the location, clean and helpful staff.Did not go to the pool as it was so tiny like a fish pond.Was told on the booking forms hot breakfast included but it was all cold food apart from a cup of tea which was hot.Was also charged 5euros per day for the safe.Apart from this we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other guests.

Hotel staff were very helpful. Hotel room was clean and the location is superb. Take the bus from the airport to Placa de Catalunya and it`s less than a 10 minute walk from there. Would highly recommend it!

"Make sure you get the right room!"
This hotel is in a superb location. Breakfast is really good and all areas of the hotel including the (small) pool are extremely clean. The only downside is that the first room we were given was so dark you couldn`t tell if it was dayight outside or not!! However, our request to change room was dealt with on the next day and out second room was large and lovely at the front of the hotel. If you are a light sleeper then traffic noise on the front could be an issue for you.

Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly!Great location!Great Buffet breakfast.The only downside was that the pool was very tiny, and not worth going into.

Cannot recommend the Montblanc enough for a short stay in Barcelona. Fantastic location, spotlessly clean, great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, it even has a small pool to relax by after a busy day sightseeing.

"convenient location, pleasant room, lots of minor problems, but free wifi / glass cava was nice"
this time: lots of minor issues, not as good as last time we stayed - booked a double room, but our room was twin; booked bathroom but bath much too small and no bath taps! just shower over it, shower extractor didn`t work, pool was locked even on warm sunny days and despite requests to unlock it we had to climb over fence to get in, breakfast was too busy, not enough staff/tables/coffee/juice/crockery etc.

Bit tired in areas, breakfast wasn`t great, the staff were a bit grouchy in the mornings, did what we asked but not very friendly. DO NOT DRINK the water in the minibar, they charged us 11 Euros per bottle for a 50p bottle. The pool was empty even though the weather was great.....

Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. It was accessible to most of the places we wanted to go. It was quite eventhough were on the front building. The air condition was great. The food was great as well. The price was reasonably good compare to other places in the area. Pleasant workers.we had a great time
