"Attention to detail."
The hotel was and room were fine, but they need to pay attention to the minor details, the receptionist informed us when we arrived that the room would not be ready until 3.00pm which turned out to be incorrect, she asked about dining and stated there was a menu in the lift, no menu! no coffee in the room! she asked if we needed a taxi , we replied we would at 1.45 pm, no taxi! she said she forgot. Just minor problems but it detracts from the expectation of a four star hotel.

"Quality Hotel - Excellent Service"
The post code listed for this hotel does not assist with actually getting into the Hotel Car Park or reception, this is very difficult to find especially when trying to negotiate the traffic in an unknown city. I was advised when we finally checked in that there is in fact another post code for the car park which will take you straight there. The room was very nice but 2 small containers of shower gel being the only toiletries proved for 2 people strikes me as very mean for a Hotel of this quality.

"loved my stay, would recommend"
I stayed her when in Manchester for a course. I made use of the spa with a late treatment, then followed this with a session in the sauna etc. The gym was fully functioning with a good range of the normal machines. Breakfast was delightful, served in a modern restaurant, good service full range of foods. Good value for money would defintitley stay here again. Quite local for train station and pubs,shops etc

"great size room"
I spent one night in April 11 at the Macdonald hotel, great warm welcome at reception, Lovely large double room , very spacious, enjoyed the lovely large bath room and bed very comfortable. Only complaints the car park was full and my partner had to find alternative parking and the corridor carpet smelt a little mouldy , not sure what that was abouit as hotel was clean !
