staff very friendly, rooms tired and rather shabby. possibly trading off yester-year. Certainly not 4 star rating as advertised. room service overpriced and quality of food average.sadly, wouldn`t recommend Eastwood Hall as destination of choice

Lovely grounds and staff; Well located to M1 and Peak District or Nottinghamshire, but food pricey, so if you intend to dine at hotel suggest the room and meal options rather than pay as you go. Good facilities, just could do with a comfortable bed and mattress especially if a couple and staying for more than one night.
