"Excellent bed - very comfortable, and everything spotless."

Excellent for a place to sleep when travelling light. Too cramped if you want to hang clothes or hang out in the room.

"Very good night`s sleep only - amenities are poor though"

Shower to toilet/sink layout is ridiculous - the floor stays wet for hours after showering. As one person showered at night, we used their towel to dry the floor in morning so we could walk in bathroom after second person showered. Only two bath towels is inconvenient, one hand towel would have been good. No soap provided for sink, had to use our own, would prefer soap to complimentary body gel. Bed is very comfy, although not memory foam, you don`t sink into it. One pillow each was worrying as we have painful shoulders, but it was very comfy - we cannot complain about the good sleep we had, much better than budget hotels. Very small room, frosted glass bathroom door and viewable gap through the sides of door, so not much privacy for toilet/getting changed etc. Location is brilliant though, would stay again as we know what to expect now - will bring our own soap and hand towel haha.

"Was really impressed and fantastic value"

I was really impressed with all the aspects of the hotel from the moment I walked through the door, friendly staff, look clean and impressive, next time in Birmingham will defiantly be my first choice

"Reasonably priced but a few niggles"

When I arrived at my tiny room (the room is only inches wider than the bed) in the Birmingham NiteNight, the first thing I noticed was the smell of the toilet. Not a good start when the toilet is only a couple of feet away from the bed behind a glass screen door. The toilet and shower area were clean but the smell was unpleasant. Another gripe was the lack of a bath mat. The whole floor gets wet in the shower area and unless you put one of the two towels on the bedroom floor, you trail water onto the carpet when you open the screen door. Finally, while the bed was adequate for me on my own, I would suggest that two tall adults would be uncomfortably cramped as the bed is not long enough.

"Problems sorted!"

Staff at Birmingham were really helpful in sorting a heating issue (cold night!). Commendation to the manager for putting things right properly in the morning and to the night staff for providing extra heat.

"Room review"

When booking the rooms via the internet I was unaware that they were designed to accomodate midgets. The phrase no room to swing a cat would be the best way to sum up the size of the room and I am by no means suffering from obesity. The toilet is also very low to the ground making it difficult for older people to use comfortably. Luckily it was only a one night stay otherwise I think I may have looked for alternative accomodation. On the plus side the staff on duty were very obliging as were those in the bar/breakfast area.

"compact but excellent essential facilities"

Was rather suprised at the tiny, almost cell like room and wet room when first arrived.Although quite minimalist, decoration was modern and in excellent condition.V limited space, not a place to come as a couple for a week, but as I was just on my own overnight it proved perfectly adequate.A lovely comfy bed, huge TV screen, and full control of the temperature were all definite plus points
