From reception to Minsky`s restaurant carvery serenaded by violins through to a comfortable bedroom, the hotel was quietly and pleasantly surprising, certainly on our future visit list.

The staff were friendly,attentive and very professional. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. There was little disturbance from outside influences and my wife and I enjoyed a good sleep. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and anyone who asked.

"Really clean hotel with very polite and helpful staff"
I wasn`t sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The double room was modern and well presented as was the adjoining bathroom. The bathroom in particular was absolutely spotless which is something that always impresses me. Nice bar area for a drink and pleasant lobby area. There are a few local restaurants within a 5 minute walk - we went to Carluccios which was nice. Breakfast in the morning wasn`t exceptional but was still very good. Really pleased with the hotel. Just to mention that the rooms aren`t huge; this was fine for my needs as I was alone on business. This was really good value for money in London - very pleased.

"Very good value for money"
The staff at the Danubius London were very helpful and friendly.Overall impression was very clean. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday night after a very busy day touring London, and the food was superb and good value for money (£15.95 for 3 course carvery + tea/coffee). Breakfast was very good with good a variety for all tastes. The only thing we had a problem with was that the beds were a little hard so not as comfortable as we would have liked.

Was initially sent to the wrong room on check-in, then housekeeping woke me up before 9am. Had lunch in the bar, massively overpriced and on top of that quality of the food was very poor. Service and standards in need of review.

Noisy fridge kept me awake.No breakfast in price.Better to spend twenty pounds more for central location and breakfast.I didn`t feel safe walkinf to hotel from Baker Street.(I have stayed at Hotel Budapest which was far easier)

Unfortunately there appeared to be an airlock in the plumbing when the cistern was refilling and at one point when we used the shower.

New decor really excellent, and staff obliging and on the ball, breakfast very well organised, will certainly come to stay again. One observation, NO grip rail in the shower, helpful when climbing in and out of the fairly high bath.

rooms were comfortable, good size and everything I needed. Bathroom was good and everything worked! The dining room and breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar, etc. where we had an evening meal was good and the service excellent.

easy to find from the st johns wood tube stationhotel kept our luggage before we checked in as we arrived early on the morningour bedroom was room 324 and was great larger than expected and very clean and comfortablebreakfast was expensive £15 but very tasty and lots of choice i would recommend this hotel

Good choice at breakfast. Rooms clean and tidy.Thought that the late night snack menu was very expensive at £8.10 for a sandwich! Perhaps the hot menu e.g. bowls of chips could be served for longer.

"Great hotel, great location"
2nd stay in 2 months, travelled down with friends and family 6 adults 2 children. Location next to Regents Park is perfect, overlooking Lords cricket ground and 10 mins walk to Baker Street. Breakfast is brilliant and staff great. Would definitely return again.

I had some tech. problems with the room --- The shower would not stay onThe extractor fan would not stop and the call-up was 60 minutes earlyI left a note on my family card when I signed out this morningI woud still go back there again and I would / will recomend the hotel to anyone !
