"staff were very efficient, friendly and courteous"
rooms were comfortable, good size and everything I needed. Bathroom was good and everything worked! The dining room and breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar, etc. where we had an evening meal was good and the service excellent.

easy to find from the st johns wood tube stationhotel kept our luggage before we checked in as we arrived early on the morningour bedroom was room 324 and was great larger than expected and very clean and comfortablebreakfast was expensive £15 but very tasty and lots of choice i would recommend this hotel

Good choice at breakfast. Rooms clean and tidy.Thought that the late night snack menu was very expensive at £8.10 for a sandwich! Perhaps the hot menu e.g. bowls of chips could be served for longer.

"Great hotel, great location"
2nd stay in 2 months, travelled down with friends and family 6 adults 2 children. Location next to Regents Park is perfect, overlooking Lords cricket ground and 10 mins walk to Baker Street. Breakfast is brilliant and staff great. Would definitely return again.

I had some tech. problems with the room --- The shower would not stay onThe extractor fan would not stop and the call-up was 60 minutes earlyI left a note on my family card when I signed out this morningI woud still go back there again and I would / will recomend the hotel to anyone !

"Small, cramped room with very uncomfortable bed, dirty pillows and dirty carpets."
This is not a hotel I would use again. The room was small and cramped, especially the bathroom, only room for one person at a time. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows had seen much better days, they were hard and very thin. Also, it was advertised as a refurbished room but I think they forgot the carpet as it was dirty and stained. Overall for the price, dreadful

"Brilliant service throughout our stay"
We were impressed with the standard of service-particularly in the bar (where we had a bar meal on Friday night) and our waiter was most attentive -sorry I did not write his name down but it was of Spanish/Portuguese origin) and at the carvery where Pradeep was delightful. The room was most satisfactory and clean and comfortable. Thank you all for a good stay.

"A lovely hotel in a great location."
The twin room we had was more than comfortable, very warm and very clean. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. I would certainly recommend anyone to stay at the Danubius as there was nothing that could be faulted.

The hotel very well located an the parking was just what I needed rather than find a hotel and look for other parking (poss save myself 10 a night did not feel worth it very secure),the location was great for our short trip at last minute with the wife from Thailand she loved the place except the weather!!! hey the 1 thing we can not account for.The staff very plesant in all aspects hope to return soon, congrats the guys in the bar made us feel at home we did not have to leave our seats very good services.Regards Steve & Name 2011. Parking was £20 for 24 hours. We had a bit of an issue with them wanting to charge us twice for the parking and that spoiled our view of them.

"Decent enough value but very noisy and very hot"
Fourth floor has been done up nicely so rooms there are comfortable and well-presented if dark. However, the room was stifling hot and the air con was fixed at 21C. Real problem is (lack of) soundproofing. We were near the lift and you could hear the lift button being pressed, never mind the loud chatter until the early hours. Location is great for Regent`s Park and the zoo but a bit of a trek to the nearest tube if raining. All in all, okay but a place to `sleep` not to `stay`.

"Decent place to stay"
Decent hotel which isnt the prettiest from the outside but is in a quietish location up in St John`s Wood. Handy for Lord`s etc but we were working in Mayfair so it was a bit of a trek with limited bars etc. The hotel is nice though, people are helpful and the room was comfy with a good shower. All in all a good experience but you didnt get much for your money

Our 11th floor room was very nice only Drawback not enough room to open door if you stood case in tiny hall. With the door shut two could barely pass untill you climbed the stairs. Slightly bigger hall inside room door should be considered when more refurbishment takes place.

Be careful on parking fee. I arrived at 17.30 and paid £20.00 pounds for what i understood to be 24 hours. They then tried to charge £8.00 for period 12.00 - 14.00 next day. Very petty.

overall rating would have been excellent but for - only one mug (big ugly thing) in a double room also a fault with the air conditioning resulting in a very hot nights sleep,although fixed the manager was not very sympathetic
