Initially when we arrived, we found the woman on reception to be quite rude and unhelpful. As we had arrived an hour early, we asked if we could check in and she said check in time wasn`t for an hour, she certainly wasn`t willing to find out if the room was ready early. She could have seen we were travelling with a baby and it would have been helpful if she could have checked us in. When we did return to check in, the story couldn`t have been more different, a different member of staff on reception was most friendly and helpful and sorted us out a travel cot for the room which hadn`t been put in. The hotel itself needs some upgrading, no air conditioning in the room and just fans provided. The floors were dirty and carpets needed replacing. The room and the bathroom were very small. The car parking is shockingly bad and I was worried my car would get damaged, a very tight car park with few spaces on a first come, first serve basis.

"new mill, not old mill"

Where the hotel is is great, the hotel itself reminds one more of a pre-fab 70`s construction with tiny rooms.

very helpful and polite staff.relaxed feel about the place and their style.wonderful river view.clean.comfortable seating.needs better access for the disabled...ie...me.although none the less, we would come again.

Quite a way out of Bath, but comfortable and welcoming. Friendly bar, served anything off the restaurant menu - the pizza was great.
