"Bar very unfriendly"

The Breakfast is excellent, the double room which I received was recently renovated and also the bed was very comfortable, the staff are very helpful. parking very easy. ONLY downside for myself was that the bar was not very tempting to drink a beer. overall very welcoming hotel :-)

"Severed my puropse adequately and at a good for value price."

Comfortable bed, toilet facilities and pleasant room. Enjoyed the full English breakfast. Will come again if visiting Liverpool.

"Not very clean "

Friendly staff, good meals but bathroom not very clean at all and bed was very uncomfortable. Overall it was an average hotel and was adequate for our 2 night stay. However, we would not have enjoyed our stay if it was longer than 2 nights due to the cleanliness and uncomfortable bed.

"Characterful room"

I was a little apprehensive about booking, as it seemed quite expensive for a hotel with some poor reviews on other sites. However we were meeting far flung friends there so went with it. Our room was in the `nautical wing` and was full of character and most importantly clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful so my only gripe would be the cost which included an additional £10 per night for parking.
