"Not a 4 Star"

Large clean room.Look a little tired in bar and restaurant areas.Get the impression the bar is only a bit of a token gesture and closes early.Not in same league as many other 4 Stars in Barcelona like Marriotts for example

Staff friendly and well intended in their desire to help, however, some information was inaccurate. The menu for evening meals was very good, though very limited for choice/variety, and therefore lacked clients which had a negative affect on the atmosphere. Gym/Spa/Pool closed for refurbishment :-(

"Good hotel if u don`t mind traveling"

Very clean and a good priced hotel there is a shopping centre 10 minutes walk with shops and food areas bar shuts at 11 and beer was a bit expensive at 450 a pint wine was 750 a bottle but all in all would go back again not far for metro station which is easy to use to get u into Barcalona itself and is very cheap area around the hotel in very clean

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The surroundings are modern and very clean. The only let down was that the toilet cubicle in room 412 smelt awful. The smell was as if there was some blockage somewhere and the smell was coming up into the cubicle. This was the only let down. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was more than sufficient. The location of the hotel was ideal too. We would definitely stay at Hotel Solvasa again.

Female at desk seemed very uninterested in answering questions however Milan was very helpful

"was not 4 star quality. "

rooms did not have tea/coffee faclities or satelite tv in rooms. showers were in need of regrouting and resealing as both were grubby and in need of attention.Bar man had several roles waiter to function room/tea boy/bar man/restaurant/waiter and whilst he tried very hard often people were always waiting.perhaps the star rating of hotels should be standardised eu wide.
