"Clean, Functional, but incredibly overpriced for what it is ... a 2-3star hotel"
I stayed in the `annexe` block which bizarrely was accessible only through the covered car park area. The room 2234 was very clean and looked fairly newly refurbished. The aircon didn`t work and the room was extremely hot and stuffy which wasn`t great. The biggest issue I had was the noise from other rooms. There seems to be no sound proofing and every flush of someone else`s toilet or showering is heard all through the night. Not ideal. For the money I paid, because it was MWC week in Barcelona I would say I was dissatisfied with the standard of accommodation. However the price I imagine was inflated. Normal rates I hope are a lot cheaper as it was not worth what I paid. It is as it says 3star. Breakfast was not great. WiFi worked great, which was useful as I was travelling on business.

"Good location."
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was extra but in a secure underground car park under the hotel. The room was very nice but the only window looked onto a wall. Would stay here again.

Had a brilliant stay at auto Hogar in Barcelona! Location was excellent the beach is a 5euro taxi journey, las ramblas 10min walk, the magic fountain is a 5euro taxi journey however we took the cable carts upto the mountain which gave the most amazing views of Barcelona! All in all for the price I paid to stay I was not expecting standard to be as high as it was, buffet breakfast was fantastic, cooked eggs bacon toast and beans plus continental, juices and hot drinks. Rooms were clean, decor very modern, a/c comfortable not massively cool but it does the job. I had no problem with noise, never once heard anyone coming and going along the corridor, there`s some street notice of traffic but it`s in the middle of a city so it`s to be expected. I can honestly say I will 100% come back to stay!!
