A large, clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff and a good meal in the restaurant in the evening. We would go again and recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Apex European Hotel in the Haymarket. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with towels, hairdryer, ironing board and iron provided as well as the usual kettle and accessories. The only hiccup we had was that the room was too warm during the night, but easily solved by opening the window.For breakfast there was plenty of choice with big bowls of fresh fruit available which was really refreshing to see. We could have had a different breakfast every morning if we had been staying for a week.If we decide to visit Edinburgh again I would definitely book with the Apex.
