The room was basic, but clean. If you`re familiar with Travel Lodge / Premier Inn type hotels, this is pretty much the same, albeit in a grander building. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely use this place again on any future visits.

The bath enamel was chipped and the whole place looked like it needed an overhaul. Having said that the front desk staff were excellent; helpful, knowledgeable and very efficient. They deserve commendation.

The room was clean and wasn`t cramped. The bathroom was clean but the enamel had worn off the bath and the whole hotel looked as though it needed a makeover - peeling wallpaper etc. That said the breakfasts were okay/good and it was only a very short walk away to where you would want to be if you`re on a tourist visit. The tour buses had a stop right outside the hotel which could be very convienient and if you`re going to the gate theatre it`s ideal! The room was very hot however and there was little ventilation to be had with very small windows (not always a problem in Dublin, I guess!).

The room smelled of smoke and the net curtains were very dirty from having the window open. My husband had several insect bite marks on his legs after sleeping on top of the double bed. We will not use this hotel again.

Location wise it was perfect as it was on O`Connell Street. Staff were very friendly and obliging in holding our luggage as we were too early for check in. Never used the restaurant in the hotel as there was so much choice outside. Never used the gym either. Rooms were basic but clean. Only complaint would be that the hotel was, in my opinion, too warm. Would stay there again.

Was able to check in on arrival at 09:00 am even though the room should only have been available from later in the day. The staff continued to be as helpful as possible during our stay. Room was clean, food was plentiful and good quality. Would definately recommend this hotel to my family and friends without hesitation. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did

The city and the people are great, and at Cassidys Hotel the staff were extremely polite, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. In the morning the buffet style full Irish breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was clean and well laid out. I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at Cassidys and met some really nice people.
