We had a double room and there was everything you might need in that room on your staying. The stuff was very polite and nice, especially the Irish lady behind the front desk. Check-in is actually at 3pm but they allowed us to check in a bit eaarlier which is good though so you can just put your stuff in the room and leave to discover the city. Plus you can just chill out at the bar or use the gym in your spare time. Would definitely go back there when we are next in Dublin! :)

The hotel is a Georgian house in a terrace of similar buildings. The staff are extremely helpful. The only problem we had this time was a noisy bar out the back, but with the windows closed it didn`t stop us sleeping. Ask for a room out of hearing range of the bar if you think it might disturb you. The breakfasts are OK,perhaps a bit ordinary although the dining room is quite nice. There is a bar which also serves evening meals (though we didn`t eat there this time). All in all, good value and pleasant - perfectly fine for a short break.

The room we stayed in was lovely & beds were so comfortable, Also its at the top of o`connell street so it was a great location to the temple bar etc. We had dinner in the hotel on sunday for valentines it was a lovely dinner & the waitresses were excellent, the only problem I had was with the reception worker never seemed happy 7 moaned & groaned everytime I asked for something! Maybe she was having a bad weekend! But overall would certainly stay there again.

The hotel promised us over email that they would upgrade us free of charge as I did have some reservations about the reviews regarding the rooms which I had read on Hotel Direct from others. We arrived and were given 2 rooms on the first floor. These were not up to our standard as the baths had cracks in them, the walls had chunks of plaster missing and the view was nothing more than back streets and roofs. We were moved instantly to the fourth floor. These rooms were beautifully decorated and upto standard. Apart from this little minor incident our stay at Cassidys was most enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful and curteous and the bar staff very attentative. Breakfast excellent and the restaurant food excellent too. Would recommend staying but not on first floor.

First of all, we arrived quite early due to an early flight but we were able to check in before the designated check in time as a room was available. We were quite happy to be able to relax a little before heading out for the afternoon. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a very good location, just a walk away from all the major sites and the temple bar district (which is the place to be on a night out!) The restaurant is alright, but would recommend trying the many other pubs and restaurants in the area. Overall, great stay and would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently sited on O`Connell street and the main sites of the city were at hand. Breakfast was a help yourself occasion which enabled you to eat until you were full. The main strength of the hotel was its staff. On our day of departure we had several personal problems to overcome and the staff were magnificent in helping us to meet our needs. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but being in room 260 which is over the road connected by a tunnel under the road I was surprised by the lack of porters and the route which was a little confusing. Breakfast was a little chaotic with the waitress`s saying find a table up the stairs and then we never seen her again.

The Groomes Bar has a certain charm and the Guiness was good. It was the staff who really impressed with their friendliness and knowledge of where to go and what to see. A low-cost gem in the centre of the city!

Excellent value" | | | | The hotel service is great, I really appreciated that i could store luggage until my check in as i arrived really early, also my flight back home was very late so the hotel stored my luggage while i toured the city. Really good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. would recommend and would stay there again on my next trip to Dublin.
