"Amazing hotel. Superb service. Excellent location"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing location. Bus routes and tube on our doorstep and the magnificent Hyde Park just across the road. E Elle to service and staff. This hotel is first on our list when we. I sited London again. Everything superb.

"Hyde Park xxxxx Hotel"
We booked this hotel through Hotel Direct as a Hidden Gem. It was an excellent hotel, well positioned across the road from Kensington Gardens where we walked several times. Room was clean and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast which was included. We were able to catch a bus into the city which was very convenient since Lancaster Gate closed until July. Queensway was quite close anyway so not a problemLovely staff, friendly and so helpful.Will definitely stay there again next time. Thank you.

"Shower/bath"
The shower didn`t have enough water pressure and the water was far too hot (dangerously so for the elderly or young!). Bath has been badly maintained and was very scratched. The rest of the room was very good, large size, plenty of storage and the bed was very comfortable.

"Plesant but..."
A very enjoyable and plesant experience apart from one issue - the bathroom; water heat and flow...The hotel was understated, staff very friendly and courteous, location was perfect, breakfast location and choice was excellent and the food was very nice. The only downfall was the water pressure in the shower and the water temp which `fell off`` to become tepid at best very quickly. The problem was reported to the reception desk and although we were staying one night the response was seemingly professionally dealt with and I was confident that it would be at least checked out if not resolved quickly by the nature of response to me.We would happily stay here again when in London.

For a, supposedly, 4 star hotel this place was a major disappointment!! I upgraded to a `junior suite` as we wanted a view of the park, we could only see the park on tip toes!!!! The bed was THE hardest we`d ever slept on worldwide!! The shower system was pathetic to say the least and the food, although very tasty was lukewarm (we even went down 5 minutes after the dining room opened!!) The only two saving graces were its location and the very reasonable car parking charge (£48 for 2 days!!)

Our room was very cold, blown warm air heating was useless and despite trying I couldn`t increase the temperature. No hot water in the morning so I couldn`t have a shower, bath tub very rough as most of the enamel finish was missing, and not properly cleaned.Good breakfast and a warm welcome.

"Great old hotel, excellent staff and super location"
Impressed with all staff - from a pre-arrival telephone enquiry/ reception/ breakfast all the staff were lovely, friendly and very efficient. Room was clean and available for us at 10.30am which was a bonus. A little on the small side and bed a bit hard but fine for one night. Bus stop right outside so no issues getting about or a lovely walk through Hyde Park to main areas. Will certainly use again.

Was easy to find carpark at front for extra charge£24 for 24hrs. Tube a short walk away. Checkin smooth. Room was excellent. Tv tea and coffee toiletries. Comfy bed . .breakfast excellent . Overall an excellent hotel with great location and good service. Would definately use again.

Very comfortable huge bed as upgraded without dispute due to first room smelling of cigarette smoke and excessive room spray from previous resident. Great location

"Lovely traditional hotel"
Very comfortable stay, really friendly efficient staff. Superbly situated opposite Hyde Park. Room was large and well equipped, extremely comfortable but quite hot. We did chose the hottest day of the year so far to begin our stay! Good breakfast choices in a pleasant dining room and they catered for my problem dietary requirements as a matter of course.

"Elegant Hotel in Central Location"
One night stay, friendly reception, allocated lovely twin room overlooking Kensington Gardens. Beds very comfortable, room clean, bathroom dated but fits in with Victorian building. Breakfast good, buffet style. free WiFi available. As the room was at the front there was traffic noise, also sound within the building did travel as disturbed during night from noise from above. Loved the location would stay again.

"Disappointed "
Problem with the shower, couldn`t use balcony, toilet didn`t work properly, room was cold with a draft coming through the windows. Staff tried to help as much as possible but clearly there are some things wrong with the place. Will not be using it again but I hope thy can improve as it is in a decent location

I visit London fairly frequently and have had much better hotels for a similar price. First impressions upon arriving were quite a departure from the online and brochure pictures which did not feature the full skip and large metal container by the entrance .Breakfast was OK but no restaurant to speak of with only pizza and curry available in the evening. Dining area was quiet with no atmosphere. Although staff were friendly and helpful I wouldn`t go again or recommend this hotel. Not 4 star in my opinion.

Were treated very well throughout our visit by everyone. All the staff were very courteous and helpful at all times. Very handy position too, right opposite Hyde Park.

Hotel was first class, best four star hotel I`ve stayed, especially as upon arrival room was given to someone else, given comp. tea/coffee while it was sorted out and then upraded, wonderful room overlooking hyde park. The downside was the quality of breakfast ours was free but if we would have had to pay, I would not have been impressed. I would certainly use your site again and certainly use the hotel again. Staff were more than helpful, service was first rate. Thumbs up from me.

Wow! The lobby is a bit underwhelming, but then you go to your room - the highest ceiling I`ve ever seen!Fantastic bed and facilities. Bathroom a little dated but very clean. Service excellent and friendly - amazing breakfast.

This is a good hotel. The bedroom and bathroom is lovely. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend staying here.

Very impressed with staff attitude and attention to detail. Breakfast was very good too. Well appointed room with all facilities to a high standard. Two small negatives - temperature control in the room was very `hitand miss` and with road-facing windows it was too noisy for me - otherwise a very good experience

Rooms are okay, but need updating. Ventilation system is awful and far too hot. Controls not working in my room, so too hot all not. Otherwise okay.

"First impression was very good and didn`t change much during my stay."
The Staff both on the desk and in the restaurant in the evening were very good and the desk staff went out of their way to help finding buses and routes for the trip to the Shard and were interested to hear how I enjoyed it when I returned.

Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside was that was no heating working in the bathroom and it was baltic!!!
