"Nice room and a pleasant stay"

On arriving early at the hotel for check-in, our room wasn`t ready, but we were offered an upgrade for £30 for an executive room. So pleased we did, the room was excellent, clean and spacious, with the biggest bed we have ever stayed in! Thanks

"Comfortable, clean and cosy "

Location is wonderfully close to euston station. Reception staff were brilliant. Breakfast is over-priced but that`s to be expected in London! Our room had noisy air con but everything else was perfect and good value.

"Slightly Disappointing"

Good location close to station and friendly staff. Went for relaxing drink and light meal in lounge in afternoon to be surrounded by people trying to recruit people to sell gas and electricity!!! None of them using the bar facilities only taking up all the tables and chairs - one salesman even asked if we had a pen he could borrow!! Should have been done in a function room and not the public areas. Rooms clean by quite small, power shower was excellent though. Breakfast in the lounge area was ok, had thought it would be in the restaurant and although the food was good the choice was limited compared to other breakfast buffets have had before.

Stayed one night for visit to Albert Hall so not best position (my fault and no reflection on review), but the price was good, paid £25 for upgrade of room which was very comfortable and so was the bed, with such a large hotel breakfast was very busy but very good quality I would not stay here again but only due to the location.

Situated near good transport links that made travel into all the main areas of London ,like the West End ,very easy.Friendly atmosphere and excellent restaurant made our two night stay special and I would recommend the hotel for both business and leisure visitors.

"Noisy and suprised it`s 4*"

Spent 2 nights here after thinking was getting a `hidden gem`. Very close to euston station but had more noise from inside than the outside. Room was small and room only didn`t include tea & coffee making facilities. Disappointed overall

"Accom. very average - service good - restaurant poor"

Our first twin room was very small and whilst we are friends of long standing it made us feel uncomfortable. however they agreed to change it to a reasonable room with more space that made us feel more comfortable. The staff were very helpful, even helped moving our belongings. We were shocked to still find single glazing on the windows. Went to the restaurant for our evening meal on the second night and whilst the service and surroundings were superb, the meal,itself was very third rate, the slow cooked lamb shank could have done with longer in the oven and the bed of couscous was too highly spiced and as for the steak and ale pie that was not of the quality expected - the beef was chewy - whilst they might have been acceptable in a back street pub they were not of the quality expected of a 4* hotel - However it did not dampen our celebration

"Convenient location, good service."

Very convenient location, easy access to underground transportation, train. Close to Regent park. Walking distance to British Library, British Museum and the shopping area. Room is clean and comfortable. Service is great. Breakfast is outstanding, rich choice.

"easy euston "

a great place may not look pretty on the outside but stylish and cool inside with tasteful décor clean and tidy and excellent buffet breakfast, and a short walk to the underground hop on the northern line and you can be at Leicester square in 10 mins . The reason it didn`t get excellent because walls paper thin you can hear coat hangers rattle and traffic and trains earplugs a good solution

"Not sure about 4 stars!"

Only stayed one night whilst traveling on business and I wouldn`t say this was 4 star accommodation. Didn`t use the restaurant as £15 for a burger and £17 for breakfast just didn`t seem right. Room was tiny and a bit drab, bathroom wasn`t big enough for a full size bath so couldn`t even lie down in it.

Good sized room, clean, comfortable, nice shower. Pleasant helpful staff. Handy location close to Euston, St Prancras and King Cross Stations, though there are few shops or restaurants close by. Quiet pleasant street with one side of the hotel overlooking a park.

"great location near tube"

This hotel is a great base for seeing sights. Bar is ok but not really for chilling more for drink before hitting town. Staff freindly . Rooms clean and tidied each day and were quiet so could relax after visiting sites.

"A truly hidden gem!"

After finally deciding to go with a hidden gem hotel we were more than happy with the room and facilities, location 2 mins walk from the tube/train, and ease of access around the capital with an Oyster card, only 4 stops on tube to Leicester square.Modern room with very comfy firm bed we were however a little disappointed that tea and coffee was not replenished on our 3 night stay. Some reviewers commented on small rooms, it is the luck of the draw ours was of more than average size (131) but reception give you an opportunity to upgrade so take a look and if you are not happy pay a bit extra. Purchased breakfast direct with hotel (£10) which had everything you could want to set you up for a day of shopping and sightseeing. Baggagerie available for last day at no extra charge too with the concierge. All in all a great stay at a reduced rate give a hidden gem a go!

"Excellent hotel"

Room was immculately clean. Staff were very helpful and so nice. So convenient for both Euston and Kings Cross Stations. Wouldn`t hesitate to recommend and stay there again. Best nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel.

"Close to station and suitable for our needs."

I booked two rooms with the same price, one was slightly larger than the other and included 1 pair of slippers and 1 robe between two. We could have made a request for another set. View of park was nice but derelict building to the right took the edge off the view. Room was clean and bathroom small with narrow bath/shower. Our friends had to request water in their room whilst we were supplied it on each day. Although you could hear trains running during the day the night was quiet. Staff were helpful and approachable.

"Really convenient and great atmosphere"

We are just back from an overnight stay in the London. Our two days took us around the west end and theatre land. We are happy to walk to most places and to this end the hotel was very convenient.The room was spotlessly clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful.We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. We would use the hotel again.
