"Rooms above function suite and music ststem"
Never stayed anywhere like it. Breakfast was awful to start with all dried up. Stick with the tinned fruit!! But mainly we booked because had work to do and comutting back to south coast. The music which went on until 1.00am. Was so loud it rattled the shower in our room. They offered to move us just higher up but over music still. Not staff fault but hotel should not really have rooms over function room with no restriction according to reception on level of music particularly base. All up for a party but not when you book a hotel because of the 5 to 6 hour journey home. Very disappointing ;(

Stayed on first floor near the lift,which made terrible grating noises all night. Me thinks the guides need greasing otherwise it was fine

"Hotel staff very pleasant and friendly"
Room was dirty, marks on sheets, dried blood in bathroom, bath with hairs in. Outside of kettle dirty and dirty container where tea, coffee and milk was. These were pointed out to staff and we were moved to another room. Staff very apologetic and helpful. Second room was clean. Breakfast very good just a shame about dirty bedroom

"Could be a lot better"
Rooms, basic but clean. Food very good in carvery and pizzeria. Breakfast not very nice under cooked. Beer at the bar grim pipes need cleaning stick to bottles. Overall staff friendly, nice location nice hotel. Has potential to be really good.
