"Great Hotel."

Really great hotel. Perfect location, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Superb value for money. Very comfortable beds. It`s the second time I`ve stayed here and the only place I`d go for when travelling to Barcelona. You can only be very satisfied staying here.

"not vibrant"

the rooms staff etc were good,but all the reviews I had read about the hotel on several web sites,said the hotel was lively,with an amazing cocktail bar,and restaurant.I found this not to be the case at all,they were very poor and lifeless.

The hotel has a major problem with the technology setting keys.Our keys had to be rekeyed on 5 occasions over a 3 day stay.

"Excellent hotel, three star but could easily be four"

We really enjoyed our short stay at Hotel Jazz. Tasteful modern decor. Large room, clean and really quiet although the hotel is very centrally located. Friendly staff. To be short and sweet we would definitely stay in this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

"GREAT HOTEL, EXCELLENT LOCATION"

VERY PLEASED STAYED FOR 4 NIGHTS IN NOVEMBER 7-11TH.ROOM WAS VERY COMFTABLE AND SPACIOUS NICE BATHROOM.VERY HELPFUL STAFF. GREAT LOCATION TO EXPLORE THE CITY GOOD BUS AND METRO LINKS CLOSE BY.WILL STAY AGAIN RECCOMENDED.

"Great location, nice room, friendly staff - ideal choice!"

Jazz Hotel was perfect for our two night stay in Barcelona - well located - good size room, nice roof top terrace and pool although it was too cold to swim! It was easy to find and very close to the underground and some lovely shops. Don`t have anything negative to say about this place - it was perfect for the stay!

"friendly central hotel"

The Jazz hotel exceeded expectations, it is good value, very central but quiet. Only 3 mins from the centre with clean comfortable and pleasant rooms, friendly helpful staff and a lovely rooftop where towels are provided for the pool. We did stay in "low season" but the breakfast buffet was plentiful with a super choice and service . We would stay there again.

"The staff in the hotel were a pleasure to deal with, nothing was to much trouble."

If you want to go to Barcelona Jazz Hotel is the ideal location, 2 minutes from of La Ramblas.The rooms are clean, fresh and the air conditioning is so quiet you don`t notice its on.The hotel has a modern theme and is a pleasure to stay there.The roof to pool and bar is an added bonus, after a day going around Barcelona you can relax with a Jazz cocktail, which is fantastic believe me, and take in the cool evening air.There was just one minor thing, there was no information in the about the TV, not that we watched anything and would certainly not put us off returning.I would have no hesitation in recomending Jazz Hotel to anyone.Thankyou Jazz for your part in making the holiday so special in Barcelona, what more can I say, other than well done Jazz Hotel and staff who make the hotel what it is.

"Clean, comfortable, helpful staff and ideally situated."

We had a very good stay at The Jazz and were very pleased when experiencing a problem with our room, we were immediately moved to another room. The reception staff were helpful and acted promptly to resolve the problem. Would go back again.

"Superb yet again !"

This was my second visit to Hotel Jazz and yet again was not disappointed...we booked a triple room this time around and my goodness it was lovely.....staff very attentive and lovely location...if I had one negative comment it would be that the roof top swimming pool does not open until 10 am, on such lovely days as Barcelona has it would be great to take a swim before breakfast......throughly recommended, will be back next year !

"Lovely hotel set in a good location close to Las Ramblas"

This hotel is in a good location near the metro and close to Las Ramblas. The hotel is clean and modern. We had a triple room which was spacious; the only downfall is that there are no tea & coffee facilities in the room. The hotel has a rood top pool. which is a lovely place to sit if sunny - towels provided. Good place to stay for families, couples and single people. Reception staff very helpful.

"Would have liked some tea & coffee making facilities in the room."

Overall a very good hotel. perfectly situated for most attractions. Clean and minimal. pool was a pleasant bonus but could have done with some kind of drink/food facility.we did not take the offer of breakfast, as we thought it too expensive (£13.50 each) on top of what was already a fairly expensive hotel. Staff friendly & helpful. I would definately return.

Fantastic location. Not directly on La Rambla but only a 5 minute walk away (so not too noisy or overcrowded). Close to shops, transport (including airbus). The hotel room i stayed in was a triple room. It seemed like the rooms were newly refurbished. Very spacious, clean, modern, a lot of storage space. The bathroom was excellent (seperate bath and shower). The staff at reception were very helpful offering advice about things to do in the area, giving discounts for clubs and restaurants. Very friendly. There is a secure place to keep your luggage when checking in/out. There is even a swimming pool on the terrace with some beautiful views of barcelona. This hotel was not expensive considering the service, location and the rooms. I will definatly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and stay here again. I hope this review helps.

We really enjpyed our stay. Excellent position, room, breakfast and most of all staff.Unfortunately we both had our wallets stolen in the streets of Barcelona but the hotel receptiion staff could not have been more helpful.

"Very good hotel."

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 night break away to Barcelona. When we arrived at the hotel our check in was very efrficient and the receptionist gave us a map and showed us where the nearest metro stations were which was very helpful. The room was very clean and modern and ideal for our needs as we were out and about for most of the day.The hotel has a bar which looked really nice although we didn`t use it. The hotel was ideally located just off Las Ramblas and really close to a metro station. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"A Trip I will definitely do again"

Hotel was perfect in every way :) it was clean and modern, staff were friendly and very helpful. Location excellent very central to shops and restaurants.Italian restaurant close to hotel recommended by hotel staff was very reasonable and delicious. Sorry I wasn`t able to try out the hotels roof pool as stayed at christmas but plan to return in the summer and try it out :). This was my first trip to Barcelona and I throughly enjoyed it. Hotel also only a short walk from where we got off the airport bus in Barcelona another added bonus. :)))

"Great location, smart interior, good breakfast!"

We stayed in a triple room and had loads of space, proper beds, quiet room. The receptionists were efficient and helpful, and the breakfast staff were great. The hotel is 5 mins walk from where the airport bus stops in Placa Catalunya, so a very convenient location at the top of Las Ramblas - far enough away from the tourist traps but close enough to walk to the Gothic Quarter and Sagrada Familia. I`ll definitely stay in this hotel again.

Couldn`t fault this hotel. Excellent location near to Cataluyna Square at the top of Las Ramblas. The rooms were lovely, clean and modern. Breakfast was very good with a choice of hot and cold food. Would definitely stay there again.

"Jazz Hotel Recommended"

Recently stayed at the Jazz Hotel, Barcelona for 4 nights and would highly recommend it. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a larger corner room but the standard rooms are more than large enough for two people. It is in an excellent location with a metro station entrance right on the doorstep and Placa De Catalunya and the top of La Ramblas only a short walk away. If I have to point out anything negative it would be that the choice of food for room service is very limited and they do not have an evening restaurant but, being as you are so close to everything, you do not have to go far to find some excellent food. The only other thing I would point out to people thinking of staying here is that, because of the central location, the area can be quite noisy into the early hours so, for those looking for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of city life, look further out of town.

Well situated Hotel (5 mins walk to The Ramblas) with excellent facilities. Hotel clean and comfortable. Pool and sunterrace a real bonus when you`ve walked the streets of Barcelona. All staff were helpful and friendly particularly the barman in the cocktail bar on the sunterrace. We stayed on a room only basis but there were plenty of places handy to eat breakfast and unlimiled choice of resturants for evening meal. We would definatly recommend Jazz Hotel.

"Our 2nd visit to Hotel Jazz"

I love Hotel Jazz for its location, 5 mins from Placa Catalunya, The cleanliness you cant fault and the staff are friendly and very helpful. You feel safe as it has 24 hour security and a safe for valuables in your room. It has a small roof top pool which is ideal when sightseeing gets too much. Single beds are spacious and it has a fridge, take your own kettle, eat out and you`re sorted.
