Easy to find - across the road from Liverpool Lime street station! Lovely substantial breakfast, with equally lovely staff throughout my 3 day stay (2 breakfasts; 2 meals in the restaurant). Soups were great. Mains very good, I`m not a dessert person. Mains were expensive for what they were + portion size just OK. Room itself was as described/expected. Comfortably basic. Everything in good working order. Only disappointment, the views were very discouraging. Perfect for visiting Anfield the jewel in Liverpool crown. (number 17 bus from Queens Square bus station). Also brilliant for the World Museum. 10-15 min walk down to via shopping area Albert Dock.

"Friendly, helpful staff "
It`s the staff that made this visit for us. I requested gluten free bread as I am coliac and the chef came back with a fab breakfast cooked in the kitchen...so appreciated. Definitely stay again in Liverpool.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Room and hotel was very clean. The food was very good. The hotel was within walking distance of all amenities.The mattress could have been better. The main issue was the shower over the bath, as my husband has some disabilities which made it difficult for him to get into the bath. Hotel did suggest using the shower in the gym. My fault I should have checked. Our daughter booked break as a gift.
