apparently happens all the time due to third party booking this causes distress to staff and visitorsWe had confirmation from Kate on 18 February for this hotelWe feel we should have compensation we could have had a reduced rate if not paid third party.

"Faded glory!"
This Hotel is one many, once great elegant Hotels, taken over by the Britannia Group. It is very `tired` throughout. Rooms are spacious, but basic. It is being kept `alive` by coach companies, bringing parties of senior guests. The food is of a very basic standard and unappetising. Drinks at the bar have different prices, independent travellers are charged £6.80 for 2 house Gins & 1 Tonic, whilst those guests travelling with a group pay just £3.10 for 2 house Gins & 1 tonic!!! When we booked the Hotel we did not realise the Britannia Hotel Coventry was part of the Britannia/UK Breakaways group, if we had we would not have booked it!!!!
