"Breakfast"

We have stayed at the Westminster Double Tree on a number of occasions using your services.The breakfast was well below the usual standard, The tea was not as hot as it should have been and the food was also not hot enough. Being served onto a cold plate did not help.

"Relevant to the hotel."

Just a few minor points, although stay was very comfortable. Skirting board corner had a piece missing which could have scratched skin if rubbed up against. Also, tea at breakfast wasn`t fresh and was lukewarm, they keep the filled teapots in a cupboard on a hot plate! My only criticisms!

"Good location for sight seeing"

Nice hotel, although room on the small side and bed rock hard. Shower fab.Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of choice at breakfast and quick service. Would be an idea to have warm plates for the cooked food as it went cold pretty quickly. Good overall stay.

Breakfast is superb and the rooms are what you`d expect. Well fitted modern room with iMac for a TV. Nice touch!!!

Excellent hotel, very nice, food good, great location for what we wanted. And they had on site parking! Only thing that spoilt it was the concierge. Very rude and wasnt very helpful. All the other staff were great though. Would still recommend.

Disappointed were told on booking we could have a view over Thames but at check in were told not available unless We pay a £60 upgrade on top of what we have already paid

"Hard to fault the effort"

This is a first level Doubletree. Check in was cheerful and fast, the room, though not huge, was comfortably furnished and the place is immaculately maintained. Squeeze gard and a couple of suggestions can be made to emerge, however:1. The iMac tv/computer combination is a sweet idea, but the screen is too small to be sufficiently functional as a TV screen2.Some of the food provided in the Executive lounge is below the standard of the rest of the hotel, namely the sliced bread (tasteless Tesco-type cheap pap) & the Robertsons jam in little plastic cartons, which is just plain nasty.As I said, however, these few comments don`t even make a dent in what is a very well run example of the brand.

Stayed here before like the hotel. But building work noise has spoiled stay .on arrival ask about this snd was told not before 9.and not weekend . Woken up 8 both morning by a jack hammer .not what you want.

"Lovely Hotel"

We spent 2 nights at the Double Tree to celebrate a special birthday in London. The staff are exceptional, nothing too much trouble and very, very polite - was given a complimentary upgrade on arrival because of my son`s 18th birthday. Rooms lovely, comfy and clean. Building work is going on opposite the hotel but this did not bother us at all and is not the Hotel`s fault. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

"The breakfast was very good and the restaurant staff were very attentive."

Unfortunately, we were initially given a Disabled Room, my husband is over 6ft tall so everything was too low for him, especially the shower. However, when we requested to move there was no problem. The cleaning of the room was OK, but they forgot to empty the bin in the bathroom and left the toilet seat up, but everything else was fine.

There is building sites surrounding 50% of the hotel so a view of a buillding site is very more than possible. If you can get on the river view side all the better. Overall a nice rooms and hotel. Scrambled egg and sauges were very nice.

"The Best"

The best hotel I`ve ever stayed at. Nice, quiet area, staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble for them. Room lovely, and probably the best food I`ve ever had.

Staff nery helpful, room to expected standard. The apple Mac system in the room worked very well. WEFI excellent. Overall 2 good nights and 2 good breakfasts.

Pleasant staff, good breakfast, great location easy access to all transport options. Some issues with hot water which was erratic but not intolerable.

"Great base for a weekend in London"

A very modern hotel behind Tate Britain. Close to Pimlico tube station, but easy to walk to the west end in about 20 minutes.Room was a good size with an Apple computer which was a novelty. Free wifi was also very handy. Bathroom was small with just a shower and no bath, but quality of room more than made up for this. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I stay in hotels all the time - about 30 - 40 nights per year, and I would rate this as one of the best and good value on a weekend break.
