"Lovely hotel, great experience."
Such a warm greeting on booking in. Staff were very friendly, attentive and professional. Room decor and amenities were high end which was in line with rest of hotel. Breakfast choice for continental was ample with again good quality products available. Centrally situated. Lovely pubs wine bars close by. Excellent value you won`t be disappointed, Looking forward to a return visit.

The room didn`t have a phone. There should have been a holder for the US charging unit near the plug..The breakfast buffet was very good. The location for walking was good for us.

"Excellent staff but disappointing room"
Disappointed by the Club room booked. I booked a Deluxe Club Room. Club room allocated had no mini bar or coffee machine. (Staff supplied a unstocked fridge and coffee machine on request)Bathroom tired for a 4star hotel, shower a bath tap mixer not easy to operate and a flimsy shower curtain. Basic small TV. This was booked as a special occasion for my wife`s birthday. Hotel had no other rooms available but the staff went the extra mile with Prosecco and chocolates which was a nice touch. Excellent, efficient and friendly staff throughout which in part covered for the somewhat tired room.

We were extremely satisfied with the hotel. The standard of our room was excellent and very clean.It was comforting and the staff couldn`t have been more helpful and friendly.We also enjoyed with good service an excellent buffet breakfast. We would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again.

So, the hotel it`s self is lovely, the staff are brilliant apart from the guy on the desk that lied to me about the building works going on there, was told they wouldn`t start until 11:00am (check out time) 08:15 they started and when I complained I was offered a late check out?! It`s taken nearly a month to get my refunded sorted with them? won`t be staying again!!

Having booked a small double we were delighted to be allocated a bright airy room. Lovely and clean and good quality toiletries. Friendly helpful staff in all areas and a good choice of ingredients for breakfast. We were happy with a 15 minute walk to theatre land. Surprisingly quiet at night, even with the bedroom window open.

Unfortunately there was building works going on during our stay and was very noisy. Also the door in our bedroom is poorly fitted. When someone opened the lobby/hall way door it caused the room door to knock which was very loud

"Rathbone hotel stay on a Monday night - post evening show"
We have discovered a gem of a hotel! The location is so close to all the attractions of London yet a quiet place to retire to. Stand out was the incredibly friendly & helpful nature of the staff. Waiting in our room was a bottle of Prosecco, some chocolate & the most sincere birthday card & helium 60 th balloon! What a beautiful surprise! We returned to the hotel bar for post show cocktails - excellent bar. Breakfast the next day was perfect. Warmly greeted & so well looked after. Breakfast food & drinks were of very high quality.

"Friendly convenient and confotable"
We had a great stay here celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. Card, balloon and chocolates in the room on arrival were a lovely surprise. All staff we met were polite friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently situated, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. We`ll be back I`m sure!

For our anniversary we stayed at the Rathbone Hotel we were greeted by smiling and welcoming staff who made our check in very easy. Our room was spacious with good decor, very clean and tidy with plenty of extras. The staff throughout the hotel were very pleasant and helpful nothing was too much for them. We will definitely stay at the Rathbone again

"Has potential "
The service was good , especially at breakfast, the waitress went above and beyond to accommodate me as I`m gluten intolerant , she was very friendly and attentive, I didn`t get her nam but she was blonde with highlights. The room however, I think should have coffee and tea facilities, there shouldn`t be curtains in the shower and lastly the shower was either hot or cold, if you turned it a little bit one way it would be cold, and the other way would be quite hot, there was no in between. Other than that me and my husband had a good time.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect. The rooms were spotlessly clean, all staff were so polite and very helpful. Breakfast was really good too we would most definitely return. I booked it as a package deal with hotel direct for the theatre and train included. It was a christmas present for my daughter, son and his girlfriend. We watched Michael Jackson in theatre which we would also recommend.
