Clean, welcoming foyer. Staff on check in were all smiles and extremely helpful. Only poor experience was a less than hot breakfast. Not enough of a problem to complain about.

"A standard hotel "
Friendly staff, and good restaurant, however, a little more choice on the menu would be great.Booked a family room, the double bed was fine, however, the sofa bed I had to share with one of my girls was awful 128534; all of the springs were visible and believe me, you could feel them all too. A single duvet had been placed inside the double duvet cover, therefore, I was almost uncovered all night allowing my daughter to be properly covered, totally unacceptable. There were black hair`s on the bath mat, and in the bath. The marks on the taps told me really that the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. All in all, based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel for families.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful and breakfast is very good and plentiful. The rooms however are in great need of refurbishment. Not all the lights work and the room is very dark. The bathroom was clean but due to scratches and cracks appears dirty. The furniture is tired and dated.

Hotel room was rather small compared to other Holiday Inns we have stayed. The light in the bedroom was not working and the kettle was leaking. They fixed the light but not the kettle. one hair in the bath and some in the toilet. Everything else was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice including porridge which was unexpected. Friendly and helpful staff.

"Spotlessly clean, staff went above and beyond"
We stayed here for a theatre break 10/2 night. Myself with my friend and two children seven and five. From the moment we checked int the staff couldn`t be more helpful, smiles on faces really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfast was also lovely so many options for any preferences. Great location just a 1 minute walk to Russell`s square. Will definatly be staying here again! Best london hotel we`ve stayed in!

"Shocking shocking and rude "
The room stated that it was clutter free and thy gave us 2 single beds and forgot about my little girl so I asked where she was meant to sleep when I booked a room for 3 then thy wanted to charge me £40 to upgrade the room so I refused this and thy then brought in a put me up bed covered in pubic hair totally disgusting and then found loads of hair under the sink totally gross. 2 of the lights did not work and the extractor fan also did not work and that`s for the tv was massive and used loads of unnecessary room . All round I would rate this 2 out of 10 1 was for the bath as I only have a shower at home and 1 for the breakfast that was good . I for the reception Rude I have pictures to back all this up if any one would like them . Daveygravey69@aol.com

Absolutely amazing. Had a wonderful weekend with my Daughter in Law and Granddaughter. The hotel was perfectly placed for access to the underground, clean, welcoming and the breakfast exceptional. Everything went smoothly and everyone couldn`t be more helpful, I would definitely recommend booking with hotel direct.

"Car parking issues"
The hotel charged me £24 for using the royal national hotel car park as their car park was undergoing renovations. However when I left the car park on 30/08/20 I was also charged £41 directly by the royal national hotel and so was charged twice for the parking, as the hotel was booked via your website I have no idea how to request a refund for the over charge

Very basic the Wi-Fi which was free didn`t work reported to reception and still no improvement.House keeping came in the second day clearly states to leave towels on the floor should they need replacing we hung ours up but they where replaced .Tea bags not replenished .sofa bed only had one pilliow . Toilet took several flushes to work

When we rounded the corner from the tube station we were in dread - The smell of the bins was overwhelming in the heat and the side of the building looked less that welcoming. However, once we walked further we saw the clean, comfortable and elegant outside seating area and entrance. The staff were warm and friendly. Checkin quick and simple. The room was large, clean and as expected facilities. The only downside was I`d booked for one adult and two children; we got a double bed and a folding single. The children ended up in the double and me on the extra bed. Really not ideal and it kept half folding in the night! If I were to book again, I would make sure I spoke to reception in advance so a bigger room could be sorted. Breakfast was fantastic and housekeeping in the main good although I did have to request the hand soap was filled (empty bottle) and an addition toilet roll needed for a three night stay.Central location is great and tune a two minute walk.

Close to Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras main line stations. Russell Square tube right next door. Brunswick shopping centre right by, with Boots, Waitrose and a 24hrs Tesco.Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was small but fully equipped.We felt safe inthe hotel

We loved this hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast, bubbles to sit out the front in cold weather!Bathroom cramped. Otherwise a very nice hotel in an interesting and fairly central area of London.

This hotel is just a short walk from Kings Cross Station, and is near many nice restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the room was nice and clean with a very comfy bed.

The room was bigger than I expected and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The light above the bed and the radiator did not work. Breakfast was good and the area pleasant. Handy for Russell Square tube station.
