brilliant location as a base to explore Barcelona. Both Hotel Direct and Ginebra staff very helpful in resolving minor issues successfully . would book again . room unpretentious , but ticked all the boxes.comfortable beds, view of the scenic square, good shower and ablutions. Quirky layout but made the stay interesting. fully recommended. Oct 2015

"Highly recommended"
The hotel is perfectly situated in the very heart of Barcelona. The rooms are small but have everything you need - safe, fridge, hairdryer. The rooms are clean and the towels and linen are fresh and white. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Optional breakfast is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly use the hotel on our next visit. If you just want somewhere to return to at the end of an exciting day in Barcelona I can highly recommend the Hotel Ginebra.

Really great location. Friendly management and staff. Best of all. We was surprised with a room upgrade for our last two days at no extra cost. Simply a nice gesture from the staff at the hotel. We booked a budget double room. And was given some sort of luxurious suite on the last two days with an amazing view of Barcelona. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay around the city.
