"Nice hotel"
Nice hotel. Too hot at night and very noisy as walls are thin. Was asked to pay £50 deposit when checked in to go to any room service/breakfast/restaurant use.

"Great locarion"
Enjoyed our stay immensely, ideal location for visiting York and surrounding areas. The hotel had very friendly staff it was very clean had great facilities and the breakfast was very good. The only minor criticism was that the bathroom was very small, but it would not stop me from visiting the hotel again.

"A bit tired and basic"
It did it`s job and provided a (mostly) clean, warm and comfortable stay.The buses are frequent and go right by the door. What`s more, you can buy a whole York family ticket for the whole day for £11. This was spot on because there were 4 of us and most Ubers and taxis would only take 3.The staff were polite, helpful and friendly.The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen clean and fresh. The lifts are pretty small.The breakfast was okay.The WiFi was good.The towels were a pasty creamish white. We found a great glob of congealed hair on top of the shower. Yuck!!!The bathroom toiletries are those large wall mounted dispensers. Very youth hostelish. I wouldn`t go again but overall, it would be churlish to complain.

"Excellent reception and quality team"
From entering to leaving we found the hotel reception team were extremely helpful and made our stay in York a happy one. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. We will stay with you again,

holiday Inn, in hertfordshire they are well rated , and for good reason, looks like they are ignoring YORK. hotel needs to be refurbed, decor is dated, bathrooms tiny, restuarant not 24hrs, could not even get a sandwich for lunch at 1pm. few minor niggles with room, but that is quite petty, no toilet brush, 1 cup left for a DOUBLE room, like i said , petty.

"Ok for a stop over and that`s how it feels"
Bathroom door didn`t shut right Could hear adjoining room talk and TVStaff were fine but thought they could have let guests that were checking out the same day as York races were on that there is no taxis available would of helped with the last minute panic to get to train station

"Food trolleys "
Our stay was excellent I`ve just got one little thing that anwas n noyed us was the food trolleys. We were in room 14 on the ground floor and when the food trolleys were passing during the night and early morning we were awoken with the noise .Can i suggest getting trolleys with Rubber wheels instead of plastic wheels for this service.

Stayed at holiday inn Tadcaster York for one night. Room was nice and clean. Beds very comfortable. Paid to have breakfast which was around £10.00 per person but plenty to choose from and you could order onlettes poached eggs or similar separately if you wanted too. The hotel was a little bit outside the city centre but there was bus stop right outside the hotel which wasn`t expensive or could get a taxi for £7-8. Would have no problem staying at this hotel again

"Lovely overnight stay in York "
The hotel rooms are little dated but very clean. Had complimentary drinks on arrival which was a nice touch as we waited a few minutes for our room to be ready. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay hear again.
