We enjoyed the hotel the only thing which let it down a little bit was we actually asked for a room to be booked on a low floor at the time of the booking , but when we arrived this hadnt actually been booked but we were lucky they had one available

"Pleasant hotel"
Room had no view, just a wall! Also the curtains( which operate electronically) would not close. As it was late when we realised we didn`t report it in the evening though spoke with a manager on checking out. He was very apologetic. There is a lovely Latino bar with live music. Would visit again.

Booked for daughters 18th birthday 2 night stay and the staff are brilliant. Conseurge staff lovely especially Rory and Stefan. Reception and meet and greet staff all welcoming and always say hello. We travelled from Portsmouth and will definitely be coming back to The Plaza Riverbank. Thankyou

"Terrible hotel"
Very unimpressed with this hotel! Check in was a very stressful experience as the hotel claimed they hadn`t received payment for our booking and wanted a further payment from us which we refused as our booking was already paid for. We then found leftover food in the minibar fridge in one of the rooms and mould on the bathroom ceiling. The hotel staff were generally unhelpful and didn`t seem to care when we addressed any concerns to them. Just found my entire stay at this hotel to be more negative than positive and will not stay here again. Please avoid staying at this hotel as there are much better hotels in London

This was our first time and wasn`t disappointed We did ask for a River View but unfortunately didn`t get one but apart from that the room was beautiful, food was lovely, and the staff were amazing especially the receptionist who was so friendly

Room was good, clean and fresh. Had to ask for a clean mug, extra tea bags and light to be fixed, this was responded to straight away.

"Needs a sparkle in some areas"
On the whole the hotel was fine, loved the position, service from the reception staff was excellent, rooms were clean but there was a little something not quite there as we have found in other hotels. The cleaning staff seemed ro take up the whole corridor with their trolleys etc making it difficult with bags to pass. The breakfast team could have done with a little more training as well.

From the moment you walk in, you know you`re going to have a good stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are extremely accommodating and helpful and the decor is stylish and modern. Will definitely be staying here again

"Dont book this hotel ."
The hotel looks good on the website, but room descriptions are very misleading. Dont be fooled by `superior room`! Had big issues which front desk promised to address and they did not. Many folk obviously disenchanted...Hotel failed to provide requirements that were clearly requested. Room changed 3 times..and then final room very noisy adjacent to main Waterloo lines... Management needs training...first and last visit.

Great location let down by poor service. Bathroom smelt like sewage, which was not resolved even after I raised it with reception. Additionally I had to request tea and milk as it was not replenished!

Front door staff where excellent, staff in the bar area not so good im afraid, would have stay in the bar for a few drinksbut order never came so we had an early night instead so i suppose the 4 of us did save some money.

"Have stayed in cleaner 3 star hotels"
Initially impressed by the outside of the hotel and the number of staff willing to help point us in the right direction for checking in. After waiting a long time to do that we were then told to hold on while the reception then dealt with the person behind us first! We were then told at the swimming pool it was fully booked til 12 the next day, after checking out!! The room itself was ok but it hadn`t been hoovered and unfortunately the shower hadn`t been cleaned either....found a little black curly hair by the shower handle and i don`t want to know how it wound up there! The room was also dark as the room window faced an enclosed court type area but my 9 year old loved the electric curtains and touch screen to control the lights....that did not get annoying!!! The location was good and a local shop just next door if you don`t want to spend all your holiday money on the hotel food.

"Like a magical wonderland. How I always imagined a Glamourous hotel should be."
Everything was sparkling, Huge TV in the bedroom. Several modes of lighting/Aircon/ Curtains everything controlled on one panel. Room service was swift and friendly. All the staff worship you from the minute you walk in to the moment they wish you farewell. My wife and I have never felt better about ourselves in our whole lives. Thank you :)

The appearance was grandiose but some of the basics were left wanting. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast which we paid extra for was difficult on both days as the area was overcrowded. Sat at the bar on first day and then in a conference room on the second. Poached eggs turned up after rest of breakfast eaten on first day then toaster broken on second day. Had to request basic teabags for the room as were not included by housekeeping. Soap vanished after first day and not replaced in the bathroom. Concierge were brilliant and helpful in everything we needed. Thank you. So some very good and some not so, hence OK hotel.

Amazing hotel, ticked all of the boxes. One big problem though is the bar prices. £14 for a gun and tonic,how can that be right. So 2 round of drinks= 2 pints, one coffee. One Irish coffee. One glass of wine and 2 gin and tonics. 1 vodka and coke. £79.99. To say we were shocked is an understatement. That alone would keep us away from this otherwise long very hotal.
