My room was clean but a little tired, The bathroom floor could have been cleaner, perhaps washed properly. But overall it was a hotel that I would use again.

"Lovely staff "

We booked this weekend for my daughters birthday, the breakfast staff noticed her birthday badge and brought her over a plate with happy birthday and some cakes on it. Then all gathered around to sing to her. It was a lovely gesture that we really appreciated.

Very good service at hotel. Room spacious, staff courteous and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Only downside was early morning noise from supermarket delivery bay across the road.

"One not to miss"

Staff were so helpful and pleasant. Room spotless, cosy and warm. Everything we wanted although did look for a biscuit at midnight! Excellent location for site seeing and the theatre.

First night in room there was water sounding in the tank all night, so little sleep. Complained next morning and they couldn`t fix it so we moved rooms. The next room was lovely except it was an adjoining room and from 10 until 3 in the morning it was so noisy from the occupants, eventually I banged on door and noise stopped. Also it is a little chaotic at breakfast with queuing up everywhere especially for tea or coffee.

Clean and quiet for London! 2 minor items with the room reported to reception were resolved in minutes?we found that breakfast was busy but food was regularly replenished. Queue for Coffee snaked along the service area but could easily be resolved (and probably will!) with an extra machine or relocation. Would not hesitate to rebook.

"Millennium Gloucester "

Just spent a night at this hotel. Very nice comfortable room. Great to have a bath as well as a shower.Lovely big tele (which pleased hubby) Huge bed in the Deluxe double room 106.Could have done with a few more tea, coffee and milk sachets. Breakfast buffet was well stocked.The reception area etc was really nice and staff were very pleasant.Enjoyed our short stay

"Nice hotel - shame about the (some of the) staff"

After being greeted by a very pleasant man at reception, we had high hopes of good service. However, the guy behind the bar in the evening was so rude and dismissive, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. To add insult to injury, there was a service charge added to my bill! . Similarly, the staff at breakfast were equally ignorant and there was very few, if any, vegetarian options. However, the room was nice and the hotel is in a good location.

"A few age issues"

Overall the hotel is confy and pleasant. However, there are some age issues that needed to be cared. Like broken tiles on bathroom or mould and dust on the windows.The staff is wonderfull.

"Good, polite service"

Hotel and breakfast was very good.Only downside was a rather small room which was quite cold as the aircon was broken and they supplied a small fan heater which was quite noisy plus the lighting was tricky to work.

Having stopped in London a few times this is the best hotel I`ve stayed in. Everyone of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was great the beds were so comfy. So close to the tube, shops, bars and restaurants.

Good hotel.superb breakfast.rooms had no heating except a fan heater which is why one had been placed in every room.water temperature not very hot.would go again.it was in a lovely area.

The hotel was very clean and the decor was modern and attractive . I particularly liked the London view across the head board and how it lit up. The room was very welcoming when we arrived. The staff were very polite helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

"Rooms tired and cold"

The reception area is pretty smart and location is very good of the tube. The main issue was the rooms look very tired and our main gripe after being moved three times was the rooms were freezing cold! We have up in the end trying to move room. Aircon kept coming on and electric heaters did not work. The staff were polite and moved us no problem but overall the rooms need some work on updating. The heating situation needs to be sorted ASAP. We had a nice weekend overall.

"Nice hotel - Front Office Isses"

Great location next door to Gloucester Rd tube station and the West End was only 4 stops away. Hotel was nice, first room was awful, dated decor, many maintenance issues and a function room chair as the main dressing table chair. Spoke with Reception Mgr who changed the room promptly. Other issues with reception desk. Lots of trainees, lack of knowledge and advise. Breakfast was standard buffet fayre.

Very good value for a London Hotel. Obviously very busy as room wasn`t ready upon check in but would still recommend and stay there again.

"Standard room"

When we arrived it was soon apparent that there wasn`t a twin room available. After a lot of looking on the computer and going to see someone else the two very pleasant receptionists came back with the news that a twin room was in fact available. It turned out to be a room with twin double or maybe even king size beds which was fine. The room however was certainly not up to the standard room pictured on the hotel website. It was very shabby indeed. It was our 59th wedding anniversary and we just didn`t feel like causing a massive fuss so we put up with it.

Ver poor service, we were due to be able to check in from 2pm, after arriving at the hotel which does look very impressive, we were disappointed our room was not ready and asked to come back in 30mins. We decided to go and explore the local area and returned at 3.30pm where we were told our room still was not ready and was told it would be another 10mins, finally 2hrs later we could go to our room to then be in rush to go out for evening. On returning to the hotel room that evening we then realised the tv did not work! Would not be staying here again!

"Not bad but not great!"

The hotel offered really good service and good atmosphere. It is well located for easy access to the tube station and plenty to do in west London. The breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. The down side was the room, though clean and clean bedding, the furnishings are dated and showing their age, and the constant running tap in the bathroom was annoying. Overall the package was good but not great value for money.

"Lovely hotel with very helpful, friendly and polite staff"

The staff at the Millennium Gloucester were unfailingly helpful, friendly and polite and added to the hotel`s atmosphere of professionalism and efficiency. Some issues that we had were speedily and very satisfactorily rectified. We really enjoyed our stay there - a perfect central-London location and yet a peaceful haven inside. Thank you!
