"Cleaning "
A couple of issues. Firstly we were ushered out of the dining room at breakfast by the manager saying that we had 5 minutes to finish or go to the bar area, as the cleaners were coming in. Never in all the hotels I have stayed in have I experienced this. It was Saturday 12th at 11am. Breakfast was served between 7 and 11. The second issue was the same day?.at around 9am a man knocked on our door (I had forgotten to leave the ?do not disturb ? sign outside. He said he would come back later. When we returned the basin hadn`t been cleaned, hoovering wasn`t carried out and the bed barely made. Even the milk stains were still on the tray. We mentioned this to the Operations Manager?his excuse was the sign was out. It wasn`t when we went out, otherwise he wouldn`t have entered the room at all. It is pure laziness. We paid nearly two and a half thousand for a four day break. We expected a little more.

"Special Occasion "
We were celebrating my 65th birthday and our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The hotel upgraded us to a lovely room with a city view.A large room with the comfiest bed,everything was super clean .The staff went the extra mile to give us the best memorable stay .Thank you 128515;

"Great three night stay at the Hotel Indigo Edinburgh Princes Street"
Friendly staff and the room adequate and clean. Lots of breakfast options - continental and traditional breakfast dishes to choose from. Had two evening meals which were excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

"Good location. Helpful staff."
Located right by the main train station and an easy walk to most places of interest. The room was nice but could have done with more storage. No drawers or shelves so had to leave a lot in our cases.

"Perfect location to explore Edinburgh"
Rooms very clean & comfortable. Hotel very close to Waverley Station & St Andrew`s Square for team stop. Many good restaurants within walking distance as well as portrait gallery & museum, Hearty breakfast included which sets you up well for the day`s activities. Would certainly stay here again on a future visit to the city!

Arriving by rail it was just across the road . Reception very good , helpful . Food very good too , although they seemed a bit short staffed for breakfasts . Would definitely use again .

"Exceptional hotel "
Booked the hotel as a surprise 60th birthday trip for my wife. The staff were really friendly and helpful.Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip and can`t wait to return to Edinburgh

"Whilst hotel is in a good position for visiting Edinburgh would not stay there again."
Room was small and had limited storage as no drawer and wardrobe very small. Had problems with toilet flush system. Staff were efficient and helpful although we were surprised to have to book a seat in the bar so went elsewhere.. Bathroom door did not close properly
