"Excellent good quality 4* hotel"
Booked four night for the Christmas markets. This is a really good four star hotel. Nice location, lovely comfortable clean rooms, efficient reception and nice little bar. The full breakfast was really good. Close to weather spoons, nice restaurants and several small pubs. Easy walking distance to city centre and attractions. Altogether an incredible four night stay that really was worth the money. Great value. We will be going back ?

"Clean, modern, comfortable, good breakfast"
Stayed at the Indigo for a four-night city break. Modern building, super shower in the ensuite, very comfortable bed, friendly staff. Room and ensuite were compact but entirely adequate for a short stay. Lots of choice at breakfast and all hot food came straight from the kitchen. Only negative was unreliable hotel wifi; worked only half the time we were there.

"Excellent Value & Service"
Huge thanks to Chris on reception. We had a small technical issue (AC) not working.Chris relocated us without fuss to another room which was just as nice. Amazing breakfast,very polite staff all round.There is nothing negative but all positive. Do not overlook this Hotel its really amazing value in terms of price and exeptionally lovely staff,nothing to much trouble.***************** Thank you *******************

"We had a great stay"
We had a great stay at the hotel INDIGO in York. From the lovely welcome to the very clean room with a very comfy bed and well stocked fridge. The breakfast was excellent with good choices, well cooked and presented and attentive staff who were very obliging.We would recommend this hotel for a stay in York

"Excellent modern hotel within easy walking access to York."
The restaurant has a limited menu but offers good wholesome food. The bar price for a bottle of tonic was excessive! at £2.75 but then I am a Scotsman. My biggest fault with the hotel was the wet room shower which I was unable to use without flooding the whole bathroom. The sloping floor to the shower is not sufficient in size for the shower and the overspray you get. Would I come back? Yes I would as the overall experience was good and the staff very friendly.
