"Great location "

Really close to Russell Square tube station, so great location. Easy check in. Separate lift for 7th floor rooms. Rooms very small but nicely decorated & bathroom looked new. Shower was terrible, definitely not a power shower & only drizzles out. Big problem with drains, room smell awful not arrival & had to leave windows open. Beds super comfy & pillows great too. No long mirror. Rooms serviced everyday along with towels.

"Close to all theatres."

Although the hotel was clean and presented well, the staff were all approachable and friendly/professional. The rooms had couple of drawbacks, namely no air conditioning rather a small fan and thermo was extremely hot, even with windows open. The bed in the room was also on the small side (queen size), even premier inn offers king-size beds, something that could elevate any stay. The last point is that the restaurant whilst serving some tasty fare, was very overpriced along with unavailability of some menu items

The room was too hot, and of course being London, having the window open was noisy, so it was slowly bake, or have a lot of noise. No one came to clean the room until around 5p.m. by which time we were back in the room getting ready to go out. Despite these minor issues, the hotel is comfortable, central and well priced, so I`d recommend

Overall a very good hotel , the staff were always very happy and extremely helpful. My one and only complaint about the hotel is , the room was very hot , could really do with a extractor fan , a ordinary fan was supplied but hardly any relief. That aside a very happy experience, my special needs down syndrome daughter really loved her stay . Well done the President Hotel.

"First Class!"

The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good.On arrival at the hotel we were talking to a receptionist and explained the reason for our stay, to celebrate our 32nd Wedding Anniversary. After leaving Reception with the door card we took the lift to the room. We had only been in the room about two minutes and the telephone rang - it was the Reception Supervisor, ringing to congratulate us on our Wedding Anniversary and to offer us a complimentary breakfast and late check-out. We hadn`t expected anything from anyone during our stay so this was a really lovely gesture that we appreciated very much. Yes, we did accept the complimentary breakfast but due to work commitments were unable to stay longer. This is definitely a hotel we will be looking to use in the future. Thank you :-)

Hotel was clean and tidy.When we arrived we were given guest of the day so upgraded had later check out time. Hotel was easy to access and swift with check in and check out. The breakfast was great lots to choose from and easy to get a seat and prepare for our day. Very impressed with our booking couldn`t have chose a better option so easy and stress free and at a great price.

"Noise"

Unfortunately sleeping is not much of an option. Due to noise at back of hotel due to units outside being so loud. If double or triple glazing was fitted then this hotel would be amazing. Its closely situated to everything and the staff are friendly and helpful. We asked for a fridge and it was delivered immediately. Only thing is that fridges should be in rooms already and a bottle of water provided as in most hotels we`ve stayed in. Especially in the of summer.The cost of items in foyer is very expensive. My advice is to bring ear plugs as they are £7 in hotel and are a must.

"Decent clean hotel "

Found it very clean and pleasant nice rooms easy access to underground English breakfast good variety but a little cold thinking hot plates not fully working apart from that would certainly return

The hotel was nice, breakfast in the morning was excellent, but the room itself was far too hot! We were on the 6th floor and absolutely cooked. To the point we were delaying getting dressed to go out for the evening because it was so warm, made it really hard to sleep and our neighbours came out the following morning saying the same.

The hotel was very good for the price. There is a lot of building work adjacent to the rear of the hotel which was very noisy on a morning

Stay spoiled by being Woken at 3am by someone going into the room next door 2 people talking & laughing for about an hour then they left the room with a big bang from the door . ? Staff or guests. Reported on check out. Walls thin & doors banging & closing often. Otherwise Hotel & rooms nice & clean .

"Another brilliant stay"

Just returned from another weekend break down in London, went with the President Hotel again (8th stay) as it always delivers. Nice and clean, well maintained and very friendly staff.Good central area gif shopping or tourist attractions plus only a 10mins walk from Kings Cross station.Evening had evening meal in lounge on second evening - really good service and food was lovely. Be back again soon - cheers President team

Couldn`t use cash in bar, room was a bit smaller than I hoped and location of our room was too near a construction site so it was very noisy in the room as windows were only single panes, it was fine as a stopover but don`t think I`d return here
